Loved the private bathrooms off of the shared room. Other guests were respectful (thank you for a quiet sleep!). Didn't quite trust the lockers, but having someone at the front desk all night was a bonus. Staff were helpful. Overall, one of my more positive hostel experiences. A very good place to stay in Edmonton. Staff were helpful and friendly, was far from full when we stayed there but still a good atmosphere. They're in the middle of renovations so everything is new and beautiful. The lockers in the rooms are HUGE so you can fit a big backpack and more inside. Yeah, they're finishing up some renovations right now, but it looks like all that will be taken care of by the time the high season comes. Kitchen is up and working just fine now, good amount of shared space in there for cooking and storage. Nice common areas. Clean and looks good. In a good area, nice and close to downtown - easy to walk to the central areas, and the buses are close by too.
