The staff isn't welcoming. The internet only works in common areas rather than in the double prvt room I occupied. It wasn't very clean. Are any of them? Location was excellent. Can't beat the price. Rules only apply to some guests and are not enforced across the board. Feels safe and I didn't encounter lots of drunk people at this one like I have at the other one.

Hostel didn't say which lockers to use, then cut my lock and removed everything during the day. I asked to speak with the manager on the phone but she refused. Rude staff threatened no place to sleep for asking to speak to the manager (i did it politely). Manager please train your staff to behave better (some are nice), and please don't REFUSE TO SPEAK TO GUESTS WITH LEGITIMATE CONCERNS it reflects poorly on you and your hostel. also THERE ARE CLOTHES MOTHS IN THE ROOMS!

A brilliant hostel and the staff are friendly and helpful. The only downside is that the hostel is only about a block from the roughest part of town.

So great- staff were extremely helpful, room was clean and tastefully decorated, and the fridge/food storage and kitchen systems were awesome.

Great location and staff members were exceptionally helpful and friendly- especially the girl with pink hair and tattoos who worked the early night shifts. However, the german girl, whose name i believe was claudia, really let the side down. The way she spoke to guests in the kitchen regarding washing up duties was incredibley rude! While I agree and appreciate the sentiment, there really was no need to be so offensive and dictatorial and she could do well to learn some manners. It put me off!

We stayed here two nights in a private room and it was a good stay overall. The room itself was clean but the drawers in the room were all dirty with crumbs and whatnot. The staff didn't seem very outgoing or talkative, which is a good quality to have when working in a hostel. We didn't use the public kitchen but it looked neat. Noise was non existent at night which was nice. Good to stay at if you're on a budget.
