Fantastic staff with excellent knowledge of the local area. Tea and coffee, with cookies, is available throughout your stay from the dining room which is a lovely touch. Only wish we had been advised about the no alcohol served on Good Friday rule, as this was a big disappointment on arrival, one which we would have prepared for if been notified. Could also benefit from soft close doors so that guests don't rudely wake up others by letting their doors slam shut!

Best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in. Staff are extremely friendly, helpful and obliging. Location is close walking distance to bus station and Cork city centre. Breakfast was absolutely delicious!! Highly recommend Gabriels house.

The staff were all extremely friendly & extremely helpful. Kathleen was especially wonderful and bright, giving us directions and suggestions that were all great. The guesthouse is only a short walk to the centre of town, so everything is at your doorstep but by being on the hill you get a wonderful view back over the city and it's quieter. The best thing about the guest house, aside from the staff, is the delicious breakfast that is included. Full continental spread PLUS full hot breakfast!

Wonderfully accommodating staff. Delicious and filling breakfast included in the cost of the room. Best (new) bathroom of any guesthouse I\'ve ever seen. Great room overlooking the harbour. Excellent value for money. Would most highly recommend!

Gabriel House was absolutely wonderful. The breakfast is too good, farm fresh straight from the backyard. The staff are welcoming and accommodating. The House also has great deals with restaurants around the area, specifically Zak (get the goat cheese tartlet.) The only less than fabulous thing was the fact that you have to walk a bit uphill to get to the Gabriel House. However, once you make it there, you'll realize it was well worth it.
