Good place where to stay

Very friendly staff. Picked us up from the pier, provided a map, gave us directions and booked rock climbing for us. Got a large room for a good deal. Downsides: The first night only had fan room, and although the room was clean, it was also incredibly hot, as there was no real window - only a small slot in the wall to the hallway for air circulation. But the AC room we stayed in for the next two nights was great - big and clean. Also found out we paid more for rock climbing than other people.

Great hostel...100% for sure in all the items...the only problem was with the quality of the transportation in the south of Thailand...which we arranged through the hostel (to go to Malaysia)...and we finally were in three different vans and one tuk tuk to reach our objetive...too much!!!...and none was responsible...anyway, as a hostel, perfect, but be careful when you buy a ticket to anywhere...

Stuff very welcoming and very nice. Possibility to book everything (trips and transports) from the hostel. Don't take a room in the 2nd floor because there are dogs barking.

Friendliest hostel we have been to during 5 months of travelling. The staff were extremely welcoming and the morning snacks a real treat. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Krabi town.

the staff was very friendly and very helpful. the location is very good (just 1 minute away from the nightmarket). we stayed there twice. the first time everything was really good but the second time our room was a bit smelly (smoker room?). there are some dogs in the neighbourhood barking really loud in the night. the room itself was quite good.

The location is quite good and since it is away from the main road and on a rather quiet sleep we thought it would a good place to stay because it would be quiet. Unfortunately there were dogs and cockerels all over the street barking and crowing all through the night so if you aren't too bothered about a good nights sleep then it is a nice place other than that. The room was nice as was the bathroom and when there weren't rain/thunder storms the TV reception was good.

Our hosts were very warm and welcoming, and housed us in a spacious, clean, comfortable room for a really reasonable price. The guesthouse is really close to both food night markets, and the weekend walking market. Anything you need to organise, your hosts will happily look after for you. Whilst Krabi Town is quite a hike from the beaches of Ao Nang, seeing how overly-touristy Ao Nang is made us glad we chose to spend the few nights in town.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 5 nights! In all honesty I wish we had stayed longer. The guesthouse is in the perfect location for both Walking Street and the Pier. We booked all our trips through the main man at The Gafiyah, he even knocked a few Baht off on each one! If you are staying in Krabi, make sure you book into here. Oh, and he picked us up from the bus terminal when we arrived!!!!

Great location in Krabi Town. Receptionist was very helpful and polite. Free coffee and breakfast included (not hearty but good enough). I would have stayed longer but rooms were all booked after my first night! Good value for money.

A nice little getaway, relatively near the main street(s) of Krabi. Very clean and pleasant. Well maintained and a welcome break to the life of dorms! Definately worth a visit for couples.

We booked this last minute to go on bus from Krabi to Bangkok. The bus didn't work out because of timing issues so the lady at the front desk helped us find a flight. she called travel agents and was checking online. She was great! The place itself is quite average somewhat close to the night market and the dock for longtail boat rides.Decent value for your money
