Marco and Lina (and their son) were absolutely lovely and made us feel really welcome as soon as we stepped through the door. They greeted us with a fresh glass of orange juice, and upgraded our room for free because they had a better room free for that night! Marco showed us all the places we could go and how to get there, and said we could leave our bags the following day after we had checked out so we didn't have to carry them around all day until our train. only issue was lack of air con.

Marco and Lina were gracious hosts and provided a nice breakfast each morning. The room and bathroom were kept in great condition, and the B&B was just a 5-10 minute walk to the Vatican. While it is a good walk to many of the other sites, the B&B is conveniently right across from a metro station. We went in August, so our room did get really warm at night. We had a nice fan that helped, but it seemed that the other rooms got more of a breeze than ours. Other than the heat, it was a great stay.

The people were extremely helpful and welcoming. Location was in an excellent place just 5 minutes from Vatican and 10 metres from metro which is very easy to use. Breakfast was very good. Would recommend anyone to stay at this hostel when visiting Rome. Especially a great place for a couple to stay that don't want to pay expensive hotel prices.

We loved staying in Gaius Roma B&B. The hosts, Marco and Lina, were very kind, they brought fantastic Italian breakfast to our room every morning. The hostel is located 5 minutes from Vatican City by walking, there are many good Italian restaurants and ice cream shops nearby. We recommend you to stay here!

Such nice hosts; right next to the Vatican which was great for us; they make you breakfast to the door once you wake up, which was such a wonderful surprise!

Wonderful B&B near Vatican and 1/4 block from Metro stop, so accessible to everything. Kind hosts, nice breakfast, and spacious, clean rooms and newly updated bath. Enjoyed our stay.

Marco and Lina were fantastic hosts! We arrived later than scheduled, around 11pm(!), but we were reassured that we would be able to get in, which we were. Beds were comfy, room was spacious and airy - the only slight issue was road noise from outside meaning we had to sleep with window shut but we had a fan in the room to keep us cool. One bathroom between 3 rooms meant occasionally waiting to use bathroom at times... but usually not for long and was always spotless! Would stay here again

The location was great, very close to the Metro and the Vatican, and we even walked to and from the centre. Marco and Lina were friendly and helpful and the stay was really relaxed. We loved the breakfast!! There was a little bit of a juggle in the morning to get into the bathroom, but otherwise the B&B was perfect.

Great place to stay in Rome. Literally a 10 minute walk from the Vatican. About 30 euros taxi ride from Roma Termini. Marco and Lena (the owners) were wonderful. Don't worry about the shared bathroom, clean and nice. And with only 4 rooms, it was never an issue. Lena delivers your breakfast on a tray, to your room. Delicious and fresh. You have your own keys, so ultra convenient, and we felt completely safe. We are in our late 50's and we recommend Gaius Roma 100%.

We stayed here for 2 nights and felt very welcomed by lena and Marco. They are willing to answer any questions you may have, the location is perfect, close to everything and even though it's so central, you're guaranteed to have a good night's sleep with no traffic noise . I was pleased to see how clean the room was as as the rest of the premises! I would go back to this b & b without any hesitation! Lena and Marco are lovely and will go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. Thank you!
