Nothing amazing in this hostel but for a few days looking for something cheap, it's fine. Free WiFi, kitchen, very nice and helpful staff to welcome you... But 4 stories (70 steps) to climb when you get back in the evening already exhausted, unless you get the luck to have a room at the first floor.

i had a great times and really enjoyed staying at Galata West hostel. The stuff in that hostel could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect just 5 minutes walk from the subway station. Also you can walk to Taksim square. I had a room on the third floor, it could be more spacious but it was nice and clean also bed was comfortable. I can recommend this hostel without any concern.
