If you want to party and meet a lot of people, then this is not the place! If you want to have a few quiet days in bsas in a charming area, with good breakfast (fresh orange juice), large rooms, excellent showers, then go there! Kitchen is fabulous! Clean towels every second day and best thing of all: bathrobes. Staff is very nice, but most of the receptionists dont speak english. This is not a youth hostel (no activities etc.), but i can absolutely recommend staying there, if you like it quiet.

This is nore a hotel than a hostel, with things like use of the kitchen thrown in. Breakfast was fantastic and available for most of the morning, shared bathrooms were very clean and new, all rooms have A/C, wi-fi is fast and the staff are very helpful. It only lacks a common area where people can relax together. Rooms were large and very clean and there is a safe in every (massive) locker. Not the cheapest place to stay but for the money it is fantastic.

Extremely neat and clean place to stay. Everything looks brand new. Quiet and calm, exactly what I was looking for. Room service every day, it felt like a 3 stars hotel more than a hostel. Not the best neighborhood, but conveniently located, at walking distance from downtown BA and a subway station 2 blocks away. I am considering it for future trips to BA.

I enjoyed staying at the Galeon very much. it's upmarket, marble stairs etc, very clean and quiet, almost zen. Only grown ups there over 40. I booked a room with ensuit only a day before arrival and they had no booking from hostel world, gave me a room with shared bathroom instead. Little english and no up-selling of tours etc, great. I'd stay there again. Walking distance to plaza dorrego, san telmo and the micro-center.
