Only stayed one night but the staff was pretty helpful and nice. The hostel has a unique atmosphere which is not bad. Awesome dogs too..

Very easy to get to from the airport. Just hop on the bus outside the airport and request avenida central y calle 19 I believe. Very cool people there and a bar on-site for when you are ready to kick back. Not for light sleepers as the bar was still partying when I left at about 3 am. Very close to CCoca-Cola as well. Lots of power outlets, clean and comfortable needs, manager showed are pretty awesome!

Staff was nice and helpful. The only thing of concern is the smoking and it was a little crowded.

Great Hostel, one of the best we stayed in on our entire Costa Rica trip. Tons of personality and funkiness (in the best way possible), artsy and creative vibe, friendly staff, beautiful murals painted in rooms, affordable, decent neighborhood near big park, guitars, etc. This is the way all hostels should be - not sterile and hotel like, but homey and colorful.

I only gave a low location review because the hostel was at a high traffic intersection. Cities being what they are it made for a noisy spot. Otherwise.... Go to Galileo, you won't be disappointed!

24/7 security, very comfy beds, staff was excellent, great location close to tica bus and a beautiful park, Bar at hostel is very convenient and affordable no need to leave for added safety, I highly recommend and I will stay there again when I am in San Jose

This place was awesome. The staff is super nice and chill. There's always something to do or someone to talk to. It's easy to get to and walk around. And there's a good soda and beautiful park literally right down the block. I had a great stay at this hostel and definitely plan on returning.

Very average hostel. Beds aren't good. Annoying that you have to wait on staff to let you in and out and they often take there time. Got bitten badly at night by either bed bugs or Mosquitos (we couldn't close the window). Only brightside is it is fairly cheap and close to the bus stations.

This is not the best hotel you can get, but people here are really nice and really relax. For the price you pay, you get a good service and the staff is great and cares about travellers. I feel like home in Galileo.

Got in late on New Years Eve day and wanted to find a party. Walked around town, but bars were closed, had a cover, or required that I looked cleaner. So, we went back to Galileo, and the staff that were all dressed as zombie´s had no problem accepting my dusty appearance. They were swift with the drinks at the bar, and ended up taking us to a local bar to hang out. Great stay, kind people, and good accomodations. The recent 0 rating was a Finnish person with a terrible attitude. Disregard that.

Myself and three other travelers all had bed bug bites from the beds in two separate rooms

We had a tiny, dark room. The beds were really uncomfortable and old. But staff was nice.
