One of the best hostels I have ever been to. The owners and the stuff are just amazing and the hostel's interior looks just fantastic.

One of the best hostels I have ever been to. My dorm room was huge, nicely decorated by a local artist and with own huge bathroom. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was also great, with freshly made fruit salad and scrambled eggs, just perfect! I highly recommend the home made dinner the hostel offers every night. The food was just delicious. Thank you very much again!! The next time I come to Porto, I will definitly stay at the Gallery Hostel again.

the best hostel i have ever stayed in my years of travel. it is more than a hostel as itself is an art gallery with portuguese historical blue tiles and paintings of portuguese artists. the district it located is a blooming area with lots of cultural events and designer boutique. ths staff are caring and helpful! a joyful experience to have stayed in such a lovely place in porto. 1 suggestion: to include method to reach the hostel from rede express bus station.

A lovely place to stay - friendly and helpful staff, beautiful restoration of original features; nice breakfast and facilities - all clean. I stayed in the dorms for one night and would have been happy to stay longer. Nice to nip down to the bar for a taste of port after a late flight.

Amazing place! The staff was super friendly and even provided us with their own map of the city. My boyfriend was sick and the staff was kind enough to offer a soup that they had left from a dinner. The dinners are amazing and definitely a good value. Also appreciated that you could do a Porto tasting right in the hostel. A lot of real people with a lot of heart working at this hostel. On top of it all, the building is gorgeous and the rooms were very comfortable and tastefully decorated.

Besides the fact the hostel locates a bit far from the city center (It took 15 minutes of walking from Sao Bento to the hostel), we were satisfied with everything and will definitely visit in this beautiful hostel again. We stayed at the 3 bed private, and it can be assumed as a hotel room! Indoor bathroom&shower with 7 free towels, air-conditioning and large space was very satisfying. The breakfast is served with three kinds of bread, fruit, cake, cereal, ham&Cheese with home-made omelette!!!

It`s in the Art Spot of Porto, near Crystal Palace and historical town. It`s charming. It has tv room, PC room, kitchen (but at night you can hardly use it, because of the events of the hostel: dinner, tapas` night...), bar, winter garden (only inside part it`s allowed to smoke), terrace. It has stairs to go to the rooms, but the staff carries your luggage. The only problem was the exhaust of bathroom`s room (turns on every time someone enter inside bathroom, becoming boring/noising at night).

This hostel is the best! I was welcomed by Louis around 1 am. He showed me around the hostel and gave me brief intros of the city. Room: The best bathroom! Two showers and two toilets for a room of 6! And I got a lower bunk that late! The breakfast was good. Everything's so great! The reception team is the best I've ever seen! Love this hostel! I definitely recommend this hostel!! The only thing is u will like no other hostels or even hotels (I stayed in airport hotel next night) afterwards !

All the little details were there. The staff were extremely friendly and gave me some very good recommendations of things to do. They were always willing to help. The dinners each night were great and good value. I think this maybe one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in.

The staff knows how to help the travellers. They stayed with us for 15 minutes explaining what we could do in Porto. They also offer a free walking tour around Porto. Every night, there is a special dinner that everyone can enjoy. I loved it.

I loved staying in this hostel. The staff were friendly and helpful and made the stay even better with their helpful suggestions and tips. The rooms were spotless and the view fantastic. The only down side for me was climbing all those stairs. That didn't bother my younger companions.

Hands down the best Hostel I have had the pleasure to stay at - and I have stayed at quite a few. The staff is amazingly kind and helpful, they seem to have though about everything possible that might help their guests to enjoy their stay. The rooms are in perfect condition and beautifully decorated. The best thing might be the dinner offer though - home cooked portuguese food, eaten at a big table with the owner and his family and the hostel staff. You won't find better in Porto.

Cool hostel in an actual art gallery. Amazing included breakfast along with all the usual fare there were also scrambled eggs, meats and cheese. When I was there I did a art gallery tour and also they had all you can eat tapas for a ridiculously cheap price during a football match which they showed on their big screen in their comfy tv lounge complete with sunken couches.
