This hostel is unbelievable! They have a bar, a collection of art designs by upcoming artists, Library, sports/refreshment room, Free internet, computers to use...and is amazingly clean and well maintained. Most importantly, they have the best bathrooms I have seen so far in all the hostels..very centrally located...everything is at a walking distance...I would love to go back to Porto and definitely stay here

It would be a big mistake to stay anywhere BUT Gallery hostel. I might go back to Porto just to stay there. It was impeccably clean, beautiful, had an AMAZING staff including an incredible chef, and offered a great free tour. At least have one dinner there, you will not regret the 10 euros!! I felt like I was staying with a wonderful family in a beautiful home. FANTASTIC!

The Gallery Hostel is a no. 1 hostel, for sure. excellent facilities, an amazing staff - starting with the owners family and a team of very engaged employees. Breakfast is lovely and thanks to the kitchen location you may either be on your own or join the community at a long table. From here you may explore Porto by feet - and you'll find quite a lot of nightly hot spots in the surrounding of the hostels thanks to the university nearby. innsider-tip: join the free guided tour at 11a.m. - great!!

I loved it, loved it, loved it. It is unbelievably clean, comfortable and stylish for a Hostel. I felt more like in a Hotel. Furthermore the crew is so nice and friendly. Furthermore we had a fantastic dinner at the hostel every night. For me not only number one Hostel in Porto but number one Hostel worldwide!

The hostel is beautiful and the staff is extremely friendy and supportive. It is situated in the city center, but in a very quiet location. We had only 2 things to complain about: 1) the toilet smells quite badly 2) for those who travel during winter months: there is no normal heating, only an air condition which does make the room warm, but it is so loud that you cannot sleep at night.

It's the best hostel I've ever been to. I'am absolutelly satisfied with it and I'm sure it is much better then many hotels in Porto. The staff were really nice and explaned everything we could do in Porto like no one else ever did. They served really good diner with wine for a good price, and you should definitely try this out. I recomend this hostel to everyone and I'm sure than if I go back to Porto I'll stay there again.

One of the very best hostels. Great staff and good location (a five to ten minute walk from the centre and main metro station). Free breakfast and good dinners available for €10. Staff very friendly and really try to make you welcome. Rooms very clean and en suite showers better then most hotels!! Definitely recommended!
