I can't think of any suggestions for this place! Lovely stay, really relaxing, nice mix of people and ages, good atmosphere - social, but not obnoxiously so. The hostel offers lots of activities too, so even if you arrive in Porto with no idea of what to do, by the end of your orientation you will have a list of at least 12 things to do. Facilities are all great, modern, clean and well-maintained. Reading light and bedside table - even for the upper bunks! I highly recommend this place.
Great hostel to stay in, really nice atmosphere with very friendly and helpful staff. The 10 euro diners in the evening are highly recommended..excellent food and great way to meet other guests. Hostel is only a few minutes walk away from the old city centre and a (paid) car park is available next door. Thanks for this great start of our holidays!
EXCELLENT. I would recommend this hostel to anyone. Due to an unplanned series of events, I ended up traveling alone and this hostel was absolutely perfect. Great value for the money. Great atmosphere. Great service. Beautiful hostel.
Great Hostel... Would definitely stay there again!

EAsily the best hostel i have ever stayed in, and i have stayed in a lot hostels. The place is exceptional, the staff will cater for you every whim and make you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. The hostel doubles as an art gallery and also has an excellent bar with a selection of locals ports for tasting aswell. They put on a dinner every night for 10 euros which includes tapas, a main course, dessert and wine and all is of excellent quality and also the breakfast is great.

Loved this place- from the adorable staff always ready to help to the tasty, affordable dinners to the atmosphere, always convivial and upbeat. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. If only Adriano had responsed to my subtle advances! *weep*
Galery is absolutely perfect! I had three incredible days there. The rooms are very very clean with a good space, bathrooms and showers very good. The character and atmosphere in this hostel are nice. They have a dinner every nights, with great food and good wine! I'm sure I'll back to galery hostel when it's possible.
Simply the most beautiful hostel I've stayed! Staff are extremely friendly and the map they provided has excellent recommendations! We enjoyed our stay so much here! Porto is lovely too! Sadly we only had one day and one night here, would love to come back and visit again in the future, will definitely stay with this hostel again!
Everything is perfect in Gallery Hostel. The all staff are all friendly and helpful!!
The location is perfect and the hostel is one of the most beautiful and comfortable we have ever been to. Definitely enjoy their delicious breakfasts and participate in one of their dinners - delicious Portuguese food and great way to meet people. Big thanks to the amazing staff, especially Adriano and Alexandre who made our trip so memorable and relaxing. Much love from your Canadian and Australian friends!
The stay was rellay godd, the hostel is wonderful, the staff always present and helpful. I highly recommend the walking tour (free!) in the morning..Paula was a fantastica guide!
Not much to say ... just a "too" perfect place to relax. The rooms are huge and have big ensuit bathrooms in it. All the rooms have an artist name and some art inside. The whole hostel is very modern and has a lot of common space. You should also try one of the yummy dinners prepared by the lovely staff. Definitely a place to return.
Best hostel we've stayed at in the world! EAT DINNER HERE! Really a lovely place, THE HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!!! I got very sick while there, and everyone took care of me. The cleaning crew stopped cleaning to make & bring me tea, someone made me toast, and the owner even stopped by to check on me! Best staff I've ever met. And dinner -- for 10 euro, you get a fantastic, freshly cooked dinner with different themes every night! Dinner includes appetizer, main course, dessert, and wine.
Everything is great expect that carrying a heavy luggage to walk to the hostel was quite painful. It's not that close to the railway station.
Beautiful hostel within an artsy part of town. Their dinners are super yummy.
The staff were excellent - very helpful and prepared to bent over backward to make you happy. The tour is a good little introduction to Porto. The three course meal for 10 euros are value for money. The facilities are clean and maintained to a high standard. Overall, an exceptional hostel and well recommended.
Really beautiful place to stay!

The hostel is a little far from the Sao Bento station, about 20 minutes walk, and it's an uphill walk from there. Nevertheless, you get to see the city hall and square, the university of porto and some fine architecture along the way. It's located in an art bloc where we have easy access to galleries. Hosts Eric, Paula, Ines and Adriano are very friendly and helpful! The hostel is very chic and they serve great breakfast (albeit continental and not local). Great amenities and unique ambience!
