The 4 person rooms are not in the hotel but in the annex, a separate building far from the main one. That means you get a better location, closer to Dupont Circle, but you get no breakfast. However, that rooms are like studio apartments with beds and kitchen, which is nice. Wi-fi was really bad, though.

Never stay at this hotel. The staff is really rude. I reserved two private room online, but when I arrived the hotel, the people in the front desk told me there is only one private room left. And he said to me, "Go out if you don't want the room." I never expect this will happen. So, please choose some reputational hotel.

I had a very enjoyable time staying at this location. The staff was very friendly, I was amazed by how clean everything was, and all of my needs were attended to. There were only two minor things that could have improved my stay. The air condition unit in the 3rd floor men's dormitory would shut off after a while even though we left it set in the on position. This made the late afternoons a little uncomfortable. Also, it would have been nice to have a sitting room other than the kitchenette

Very clean, very good location, close to the public bicycles, close to the very nice area of Dupont Circle. Only bad point, perhaps : no locker. So you have to trust your roommates. I did not have any problem, all the contrary, they were very friendly, but sometimes you might appreciate more security, juste in case.

Good location, covers the basic necessities. Think I could have found something cheaper though. The "breakfast" is toast, bagels and coffee -don't expect more.

Right next to the Washington Hilton, for about half the price (for a private room). Unfortunately, it is also right next to the Washington Hilton\'s loading dock, and the trucks start their deliveries around 7:00am. We paid 10% more than the price listed on-line as due on arrival, \"because that did not include tax.\"

I loved the location. Close to the city share bikes which can in handy to get around the city. The rooms were clean. Wished there was a common room to just hang out. The rooms were too dark to read at night.

The Hostelworld.com Team, My experience at the Gallery Inn is very pleasant by both the staffs as well as the guests that were there on my stay. Will definitely be back there next time when I need a place in Washington DC. Thanks to you folks also for listing them. Best wishes, Minh Pham

It's very clean and located in area that has a lot of cafes and restaurants, but not noisy. The area around the hostel was very pretty as well. Close to public transport. The staffs could be friendlier though. It has a hotel feeling more than hostel feeling.

Rude people. Poor management would have rather stayed at mission shelter with a fleas bag mattress.

Some friends and I stayed here in the 3-person private room. We were very happy with our room, the price, and the location of the hotel. The beds were super comfy! We never took advantage of the free breakfast in the morning, since there were so many places to eat in the area. Short walk to the metro.

I've been here a couple of years before. This hostel still remained truly a jewel. Fresh Linen, clean towel everyday. Very closed to dupont circle. The rooms were cleaned everyday and D.C'S insider on 18th NW in Adams Morgan is right in front of the hostel. The Hostel is in a safe neighborhood and a 7-Eleven for convenience goods is also only a couple of minutes away.

Excellent location. The room is big and clean. But the internet didn't work at all during our 3-day stay.

A good place to stay. The location is good, there are a lot of close places to go to eat and dance. The place is clean and it looks nice. They receive the suitcases before the time of check-in so I could leave the thing there and go to see the city. The bends are nice and the rooms have good space, the only things was that during the night it's kind of noise but the noise come from the street, maybe it is like this only the weekends. The price is good for the place.
