A good hostel, clean, cheap, nice rooms. There was two kitchens, giving it the best self catering facilities of anywhere that I have stayed. The only bad thing is that there wasn't really an atmosphere at all, it is a small (in numbers) hostel and the communal room isn't very central. I would recommend this to couples and groups but lone travellers should go somewhere with dorms since it will have more of a 'meet and socialise' atmosphere going on

We stated at Gallery for Sziget festival. The location was pretty good as it's just the other side of the bridge from the train to the festival or a few streets away from the boat. It's also well located to pop down to the centre of Budapest, although we didn't do that as much as we thought we might. The staff were kind and helpful, although not ever-present. and the room was exactly what we were looking for, although it was very hot (the fan supplied was very small and didn't work properly).
