Endre was great. He sat down with my wife and marked up a map for us with great suggestions, including non-touristy restaurants and the best walking tour I've ever had (and it was free). He also emailed an additional list of live music suggestions later that day. The place was in great condition, and he was very relaxed about our 'contract'. It made me feel like I was staying over at a buddy's house for a week.

Our stay at Gallery Hostel was really great. The owner is very kind and helpfull, the hostel is clean and situated near the city centre. You do not have to take any bus or tram to get to the most important monuments. Even it is cheap, the quality is extraordinary. I do recommend this hostel very much - for the moeny you pay you get many times more.

Very nice place to stay. I recommend it to everyone who want to spent some time in Budapest not losing all of your money. :)

The owner is a great guy who picked us up at the bus station late in the evening. Endre is very friendly and helpful. He gave us lots of helpful tips and some maps. We staid actually at an apartment belonging to the hostel and this is a great place: centrally located and private. We enjoyed our stay very much and would go back if possible :)

I truly enjoyed my short visit but will definitely will be planning my next trip at the end of this summer and will spend even more time here. Gallery Stay Hostel was quite comfortable, cozy, clean and affordable. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful regarding Budapest and the various activities. I would definitely recommend Gallery Stay Hostel to anyone looking for comfort at a great value.

A nice cosy hostel. It's a house and it seems there is few people staying there. So you feel that you're in home. There's a nice kitchen, and two big bathrooms. The staff was very nice, but no breakfast.. It was cold inside the rooms, ask for more blankets.

Nice rooms and a friendly owner/staff. We had the room next to the livingroom - which was quite noisy. Other than that great place.

Very cosy and personal hostel in a perfect location. There were just 200m to the big metro station from the hostel. Staff was so friendly and helped us to survive in the city and gave us advice. There were good possibilities to use internet and cook in a kitchen in a hostel. The house was beautiful and we really enjoyed being there.

Really nice hostel, with great location and stuff. This was my second time there and definitely I will choose it every time I will be in Budapest! The rooms are clean, large enough and the hostel has all the facilities you can need. Nice bathrooms also.

Small, independent studio in a 19th century appartment house in Rozsa str. Nice owner, good neighbourhood. The bath slightly beyond the level of the entire studio.
