One of the best places I have stayed on my trip. Amazing relaxed atmosphere, but with plenty to do as well. Badminton court, natural pool, canoe tours and only a twenty minute easy bicycle ride from town. Delicious food, very friendly, welcoming staff. Perfect if you're the kind of person to head to bed at a decent time and enjoy your day. Not a party spot. Booked two nights staying 6.

You should know this is a little bit out of Kampot and is accessible through bumpy roads, which is fine if you don't plan to travel back and forth between the city and the hostel. They rent motorbikes for those who can handle the scrappy roads, which is a great option to discover the countryside by yourself. Room was A1, very comfortable. The showers are a bit awkward as they only consist of a hand shower right next to the toilet with no dedicated space. Great place anyway, would recommend!

Ganesha was great :) Staff is lovely, very helpful, surroundings are beautiful and very interesting ! It was soo good to rent a bike and rent a little boat and just go around. The only thing is - I understand the eco-friendly concept and I am with you guys with all my heart, but I think there should be toilet paper available in the bathroom at all times ! Always. This way you give your guests a choice - use it or not. Another thing - one bathroom together for the bar area and dorms is not enough

Lovely, lovely place if your keen to mellow out in the sticks for a couple of days. Big sustainability focus. Helpful staff. The pool is lush! As is the location. I stayed in the 12 bed dorm which was simple and comfy and my bunk buddies were all easy going and considerate. Security isn't ideal as no locks on doors or lockers (but staff let me leave my passport behind the desk) and $4 USD for a tuk tuk into town so Ganesha's is a better option if you'd rather spend some time OUTTA town.

It's easy to become a part of this small community in the Kampot Province. The rooms are clean and a fresh wind travels through the property giving a fresh air for sleeping. The staff is helpful, friendly and fun. I received great tips for exploring the local villages. I really appreciate the delicious and wholesome vegetarian cooking. Everything's at hand: biking in the villages, paddling in the Kampot river, fireflies in the backyard and a heartful atmosphere. Highly recommended.
