The food was good, especially breakfast. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The internet was sporadic, which was a problem at times. All-in-all, a really good experience! Thank you!

The door is not very secured. The others elements are generally good.

This hostel is ideally located in the old town of Lijiang. It is really nice and has a lovely courtyard area. The staff were friendly and mostly helpful. We had a slight issue with noise, the 1st night we were kept awake by a person playing a guitar and the 2nd we were kept awake by a noisy drum shop across the road. We spoke to reception about the drums they said they were aware of the issue but nothing was done. This aside we would recommend here but perhaps request a room away from reception

Just outside of the tourist trap area yet easy walking to the centre. Taxi can drop you off about one block away.Character Naxi house. Light food available, breakfast from 8:00am, earlier upon request. Hot water and western toilets. Shuttle to Tiger Leaping Gorge at 7:30.

The hostel was nice, showers and bathrooms were clean. The door to our room only had a padlock and to "lock" it at night we had to use a bamboo rod to stick between the door handles on the inside. We got lost finding the hostel and tried to ring them and got no help from the staff, we had to go to a different hostel and ask there! The location was excellent though! Right next to the main streets with all the restaurants and shops.

It was a really good hostel The staff was friendly and helpful. Since the hostel is on the brink of the old town, it's not as crowded as in the heart of the old town. Still only 5-10 minutes walk to get everywhere. The courtyard was pretty nice as well. Would come back here.

The staff were nice and very helpful - I needed to courier some packages which they assisted me with and when I injured my back I was accompanied to the massage place and helped with communicating my needs in Chinese. I really liked this hostel, and the courtyard is quite pleasant, bright and full of plants and flowers. The food is also good, which I appreciated after having some bad food in town. Overall a good experience!

An unforgettable evening without the un. Whilst the hostel is by no means a disgrace, it fails to exceed expectations with regards to the price. Perhaps the best feature of this hostel would be it's location. The over priced, and slightly disappointing morning breakfast can be immensely offset with the sunrise over the traditional roof tops. More than suitable for short one night stays.

The staff here is amazing! They're so friendly and helpful, and the prices for the rooms are very good. The double room had the most comfortable bed I've slept in since I've been in China and the bathroom was great too. Actual hot water with good pressure.

I would say that the staff there is excellent. They have strong English language ability and they were very patient and helpful in furnishing me with information and service, including bus tickets to and fro other places.

stayed in a two bedroom room with an en-suite. The room was a little cold during the night but electric blankets were available so it wasn't cold when sleeping. Also had wifi in the rooms as well as the communal areas. the staff were very approachable and recommended tours we could go on. they also provided a pick-up service from the airport. the hostel was very good value for money.

Super friendly staff. Very nice and were willing to listen to our badly spoken Chinese. The lock for our room was old probably needs to be replaced.

Great character and very helpful staff. The fixtures and fittings are teetering on the edge of breaking down (things like door locks, toilet flushing, shower room drainage). At ¥60 per person per night for a double room it is fantastic value, but they might do better to upgrade the facilities and charge a bit more.
