Not the cleanest or the most social hostel. It was really quiet and think you can find better hostel with same price.

In my opinion it's a bit too expensive for what it offers. It's not very clean and in our room the shower would only let a few drops of water, making it really hard to get a shower since there was barely no water... Nonetheless the boy who received us was quite helpfull and gave us some help regarding what buses to take and some opinion on less touristic places to visit.

great staff, theyre fun and friendly, very helpful. plenty of space and a beautiful terrace to relax. the layout is very comfortable, not awkward, easy to meet other travelers. our first day in buenos aires we stayed at another hostel and when we later arrived at gardenhouse, we felt totally at home. such a contrast from the first. we really enjoyed our stay.

The staff and guests were really friendly and helpful! It was unfortunate that there was no water for a few days but overall I really liked this hostel!

Not the cleanest Hostel, the booster pump was broken when we arrived and no water was available in the rooms.

We had a little problem - the site advertises a parking. That was one of the reasons that we have chosen this hostel. When we arrived to the hostel it appeared that there is no parking and we needed to park our car in another place for additional fee. The staff helped us to find the parking, but didn't compensate us for the extra charge for the parking.

I had a fantastic time staying at Garden House. Initially I wondered if it was too far away from everything in BA but quickly realised it was in a great location in San Telmo, a very local feel and close to the Subte so it was easy to travel, with great cafes and bars closeby. The rooms are kept super clean and the staff are lovely and very helpful, with a very friendly vibe in the hostel. I would definitely recommend staying here!

The only thing that was not good was the brekfast. The milk was sour and many products not fresh (the dulce de leche for example). Many of he glases and cups were not clean. Would take very litte to fix this. The terrace is ok, but would be hundred times better without the terribly blue tables that gives the nice terrace a favela-look.

Quite a noisy hostel, lots of late night movement, music playing, etc.
