Best bang for the buck in Buenos Aires!! Staff is really nice. It´s a small, comfy hostel, easy for meeting other people. Totally good to go! also really close to San Telmo

Nice staff and and a homey place. We were a day delayed but shouldn't pay for the first night - thats good service. Its a good place to met other backpackers. There's no reason to not have to choose Garden House :)

This was the second hostel I stayed in BA and it is a bit old. Everything from the rooms to the bathrooms is old and worn down. Unfortunately our room was next to an restaurant exhaust so we had a nice smell of deep fried food in the room. The staff is friendly and the place is generally clean but there are other hostels in BA that have the newer and better infrastructure for the same price.”

Had a great time here. The staff was friendly and helpful and great vibe. Location not so good for center but only a couple of blocks from Train Station for Southern destination.

The staff was very friendly and the facilities were pretty good. The place had a very cozy feel to it, but there are a few things that could be improved on. The main bathroom upstairs was shared and it could be a bit awkward if you needed to do your business with someone of the opposite sex in there, but thenagain you can just wait if that's an issue. Also, the staff should get information about the trains coming to and from BA. It's way cheaper than the busses! Overall though it was a good stay

Nice and helpful staff, not the best area, but really close to the Metro. So you can be in the center in 10 minutes or go anywhere else. For Buenos Aires it was quite cheap and looked clean. Be careful when you put your luggage in the storage room because it was not closed.

Located near to a metro station, helpful staff. The locker room where you can store your bags was not locked!

The staff were a good help and the common areas are quality. The balcony and library are great. The bathrooms need a bit of work and the dorm rooms need a/c

nice hostel, excellent anr very helpful staff, nice living areas, location bad at holidays and weekends ( be careful alone at metro san jose), we had no warm water for a few days and no electricity because of storm for one day- but actually i still liked my stay there! fruits for breakfast are wonderful! i would recommend that hostel for people in search of a cheap, cosy, feel ike home hostel - but not for girls travelling alone already scared of big latin americsn cities

Good stuff: rooms with good fans, roof terrace to chill out, clean bathrooms. Not-so-good stuff: staff wasn't friendly and didn't transmit the "hostel vibe" one is generally looking for. Location doesn't feel that safe especially at night, so you have to take a cab to go out. However it is walking distance from everything you'd like to see in B.A. Breakfast is just OK. The coffee has to get better.

The staff did not know a lot of basic information, like where to wash clothes, where to find an ATM, how much the bus cost or really anything about the city. The place itself is very cute but the neighborhood is a little rough and the staff did not help us navigate the situation very well.

The hostel staff was great but I think that the toilet and bathroom were very uncomfortable and ruined the good impression that the hostel could give. For example: Unisex shared bathroom and shower without a door, tiny bathroom when only one of the two bathrooms had a curtain that prevents your cloths to get wet while you are taking a shower, These are things that are easy to fix and then the hostel will be great.
