I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to The Garnish House. I booked it, thinking it was going to be a hostel, It was more a bed and breakfast. The staff was very pleasant, It was very clean. Approaching the house was a nice surprise at arrival.

Oh. The breakfasts. Oooh. The tea and scones upon arrival. Aah. The friendly people. This B&B is the one that can outshine all the others - and did I mention the clean ccomfortable rooms and the great location by University College Cork? And Cork is walkable, so downtown is plenty close enough to walk. This has GOT to be the best place to stay in Cork!

There is a good reason why Garnish House is top-rated - and it starts with the people there, who understand exhausted travelers. Those breakfasts - WOW. The rooms were lovely.

I really enjoyed the host's welcome and good environment they make for guests. It's an excellent choice for ppl coming for tourism within Cork and around Cork. With their excellent breakfast, you can just enjoy the rest of your tour without worrying for lunch but make the most of your day!

Very nice B&B. The rooms were immaculately clean, hot showers, excellent welcoming tea. Located very near UCC, about a 10 min walk to Cork Center. Only complaint is the breakfast isn't included, but everything else was so perfect it was easy to overlook. Really helpful and friendly staff.

Excellent location as could park for free and stroll into city. Staff could not do enough for us from the moment we arrived. The 25 options for breakfast was a great surprise, which set us up for the day. We loved the coffee too. Did not want to leave as so homely and welcoming. It would be a shame not to stay here as excellent value for money and we'll be back!
