it was so nice to be welcomed by an Irish person who knows what you need after travelling is a nice cup of tea with a bonus of homemade scones and cakes. The breakfast is amazing particularly when you start with porridge and whiskey - sets you up for the rainy weather! If you ate all on offer for breakfast you wouldn't need to eat again and all for ten euro.

Great place to stay in Cork! The bed (double) was a little small, but really, I would recommend Garnish House!

My wife and I had an outstanding stay at the Garnish House! Also the breakfast the next morning was the best meal we had while in Ireland. Well done to all involved! Cheers!

More like renting a house than staying in a B&B! We were in the house over the road which was excellent for more space and privacy. The tea and scones on arrival and the breakfast in the mornings were incredible!! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend as the place to stay in Cork.

The B&B is in a reasonable location, only 15 mins walk to the main streets of Cork Better than paying high prices for larger hotels We stayed in the 2nd building just down the road from the B&B - it was clean and well-kept but felt a little isolated The afternoon tea on arrival was nice and we knew, from reading previous posts that we'd have to pay 10 euros each for breakfast. They should advertise this somewhere though. Overall, a reasonable stay in the city.
