A beautiful little oasis in Kataragama. Fantastic hospitality and food. Only downfall is its a little hard to find and a bit outside of Kataragama town (not really that big of a deal though).

Location - not in Yala Park (20 minutes from Enter) Atmosphere - good be ready Vegetarians!!! Value For Money - expensive dinner, but delish!!!! (USD 10/person)

Thank you very much for your review. Gem River Edge is located on the border of Yala National Park about 8km from Yala NP - north of block 1 - Kataragama entrance (it's not allowed to live inside the park). Our meals are cooked fresh everyday in a srilankan traditional way, we want to offer a complete, healthy, delicious food and the price include drink, dessert and the guest can serve them self as many times as they want. It's included also all other extra drinks.

Very nice place and good food! I would recommend it!
