Staff should be friendlier and attentive I think it boils down the fact there are many guests during check-in and I felt no warm welcoming me there. Need to feel Danish hospitality, that's for me I work in hospitality industry so my expectation is quite high On positive note, it's the best hostel for its facilities - great bed, room and lobby you don't feel you're staying in a hostel

Nice hostel and location is central which is ideal. It was kind of hard meeting people during my stay because the roommates in my dorm were not very social. But I did enjoy my stay overall.
Great place to sleep, hang out, and meet new people. Staff was all very amiable and helpful. Only thing is, drinks at the bar are expensive!
It was a very nice and clean hostel with an awesome bar and bar area. Everything was a little expensive though in my opinion. Great location too.
More of a corporate hotel, so huge, not the easiest place 2 meet people...
Place is very organised and clean. Buffet breakfast is lousy and a bit overpriced compared to what was on offer at even some cafes not too faraway from the hostel.
One of the better Generators I have stayed in. Rooms are bright, facilities are clean for the most part, and the location is great. There is a wonderful terrance and the staff is quite nice. Though, it be nice if they were better about activities and what is going on at the hostel. It is super easy to meet people, even as a single traveler.
The atmosphere and the staff were great. The common areas were really well done, and large and inviting. I liked the touch of an actual real bar in the space. My room was well appointed and a descent size, the lockers were plenty big. My only complaint is the air. It was quite hot in Copenhagen during my stay and the windows didn't open very easily, and even when open the rooms had no ventilation of any kind. It was uncomfortable and left the rooms musty and gross. I barely slept.
Good bunk bed with a built in light and two electrical sockets for recharging.
Good hostel, although in the mornings construction and other random noises can be very loud through the window. Also some of the rooms can be kind of cramped, but all around still very good.
I stayed in generator hostel on very hot days in Copenhagen. The hostel needs to invest in either air conditoning or fans in the room and at a minimum we should be able to open the windows more than a few inches because the heat was unbearable. Overall, the hostel was good.
Great hostel to meet other travelers! The roof top terrace provides a great place to hang out after a long day exploring the city. It was a bit noisy at times but that is to be expected for a hostel so close to the main attractions and night life.
The hostel should facilitate a refrigerator and a microwave for guests' use even though there are no kitchen. Some guests need to warm up or keep the food cold from the market. The key pad may be for room only, cancel for the elevator because it often not works properly. Guests have to insert in and out the key pad gain and again that waste time.
The generator hostel is extremely well located in Copenhagen. The staff are friendly and helpful. They were happy to provide whatever I needed (be it the key for a shower before check in or bandaids for my blisters). I loved the communal areas as well - the indoor hammocks and comfy couches were a nice touch! The breakfast is also worth having. Overall I would recommend staying here and would stay here again!
Decent hostel in good location. The rooms were nice and there was a good bar, restaurant and couch area to hang out in. It's very easy to meet people. The staff were friendly and could assist with things to do and places to visit. The breakfast is well worth the money. Not too bad for a huge chain hostel.
Excellent location. Big hostel with great common area.
Everyone was so friendly, and the shared areas were brilliant for meeting other travellers. Thank you so much to you guys, especially Mitchwho gave some pretty phenomenal recommendations for what to do in the city.

Nice clean Hostel. Rooms were quite small in a 6 bed including small ensure te shower/toilet. Each bed has its own plug, more like a hotel in terms of atmosphere.
Bathrooms and sinks in the room create a lot of disruptions late at night and early in the morning. The sink was right next to the head of a sleeping roommate -- how can that be a convenience? Staff put a middle aged woman on a top bunk when there was a bottom bunk available, and the rungs on the ladder were slippery. She almost fell a couple of times. Poor design. Very clean, very new, but not a really useful design in the rooms overall.
