Wifi didn't work the entire weekend I was there. Staff just said they were "calling someone about it". Also not really in Prenzlauer Berg. No security - anyone can walk onto an elevator and get to any floor. Mostly huge groups of loud teenagers on group trips - I switched to Mitte and had an amazing time, secure, better area and better people.

Good hostel friendly staff just sucks how many school groups they have go through.
Good hostel. Good party environment... It's Berlin! Would stay here again. Neat, clean, friendly. Bit out from Alexander platz, but rig next to the train station which is easy to manage. Heaps of public transport around. Staff were super friendly. Would stay here again. Bar is good and cheap!
Great staff!! The location isn't super close to any main attractions but the train station and trams are RIGHT next to the hostel. Felt super safe and comfortable.
Allowing school/family groups is annoying. I had a family with really young children in my dorm. Not only is this potentially dangerous for the young kids, it's frustrating having to try and be quiet so early in the night because there are young kids sleeping (who don't show the same courtesy in the morning)
place is generally great, not enough staff to serve people quick enough and the showers could be a lot better
The facilities and premises of this hostel are really nice. The staff is helpful, the breakfast is worth it. The only problem is the wifi that does not work in the dorms..
