The security conditions are high. I liked that the lockers are ourside of the room, so can organize yourself, without disturbing others. It is not near to the cornavin, but it is easy to arrive, taking the tram. it is easy to find and it is near to the lake, which is great. Staff is very friendly. It is clean. Well....in Geneve everything is expensive, so the value was good. The breakfast is ok.

Excellent breakfast, cleanliness and fast service in the heart of Geneve!

I had a good stay at this hostel. The rooms were basic but comfortable. It was clean and the location was only about a 10 minute walk from the old part of Geneva. The breakfast was basic but included in the price, which was nice. The only thing I didn't like was that the lockers were outside of each room, in the main hallway.

Would have preferred to be able to use restrooms in all of the facilities instead of just the one on my floor.

Everything about the hostel was good. Clean rooms, big lockers, staff was helpful when asked questions, breakfast was also good. It was about a 10 minute walk from everything along the lake but they also give you a free transport card which was nice.

Very well-kept and clean, excellent facilities. Very good breakfast included. The neighborhood can be a little quiet but still safe. Overall, one of the best hostels I have stayed at!

Yes, Geneva is expensive so this is the only place to stay with reasonable price. Zero atmosphere but clean. Staff not too concerned. Security? Two guys came into the room and tryed to get a free night in one empty bed.

The sinks and showers were very dirty and covered in hair and shampoo residue. The floor of the toilet rooms had a film of grime. The rooms were dusty. Someone in my room stole clothes and shoes that I had left hanging to dry, even though many other clothes and technology of other people (mobiles, iPads, watches) were freely laying around the room. This is not a youth hostel, as advertised. The older people in our room were very rude and obnoxious so that was the main reason for the poor stay.

Unkind staffs. Usage of washing machines is limited because of the strange rule.

Good location near the train station and the water (plus public transit is free with the pass they give you). Lockers are outside the dorms and operated using your key card. Overall, a standard hostel, no red flags and nothing extraordinary.

Overall, it was a really great place to stay in Genève. The staff was helpful and the location was great.

Wifi does not work in the room! It was annoying to go downstairs to get wifi. Otherwise the beds were comfy and clean. 10-15 min walk to train station. Outside of the city center so public transport is a must

The hostel was far more outstanding than I expected. It was extremely clean, the hotel staff were very pleasant and the overall atmosphere was exceptional. One gripe about the hostel may be the breakfast option. I had to queue for about 25 mins to get food. It would be great if more food stations were set up! Cheers

At first I thought Geneva hostel was a little expensive, but now I know why. It is spotless. Perfect facilities, excellent security, great staff and breakfast included (although don't get your hopes up too high for breakfast, its basic. But still included!).

This hostel is not a bad but there are definitely a few things to note before you book: 1) This hostel does not have any real hostel atmosphere and it feels like a hotel. No community within the people staying. 2) Geneva (and this hostel) are REALLY EXPENSIVE! If you are travelling through like I was, I would recommend not staying the night... Not much to see and everything costs loads more than anywhere else. 3) The WiFi doesn't reach the rooms so you have to go downstairs to access it.

Good value for Geneva, but large and basic, no real hostel feel to it.

Convenient location 5 min to the station, no extra charge for sheets

Geneva hostel was in a convenient location and provided free public transportation all over the city which was nice. The staff was a little older and did not speak very good english, which was little disappointing. A nice hearty breakfast was included which was great.

Really great place to stay. It was big, clean, and all the staff members we interacted with were pleasant for the most part. Really close to the river and easy to walk places, but also near public transportation. Would definitely stay here again!
