The hostel is located in a nice neighbourhood, close to the main train station. The staff at the reception was extremely friendly, providing lots of information on what sights to visit. You also get loads of maps and a free transport card. You can safely store your things in lockers outside the room.

Pretty good location, walking distance to main train station and with free transport card you can easily get anywhere. Pretty expensive but it is Geneva and also the breakfast is generous and tasty so you save money there. Atmosphere also not great, lots of school groups and not really a welcoming common area. Finally could do with some extra staff at the front desk.

The place was a bunker and in the rooms where nothing, but the beds. No chairs, no table, nothing. There was no kitchen where to cook. You have make your own bed and return your sheets to reception. Breakfast was ok.

Well looked after.. Loved the place .. Any body staying in Geneva .. The place is huge .. Good solid breakfast buffet, liking the chill out sofa in reception .. Plenty of space and two lifts .. Thanks to staff on the front desk for an excellent job .. All well in 2016

We loved our time in this hostel! The staff were very helpful and the security measures were exceptional. Highly recommend this place.

Great location and clean. Beds were super comfy and the staff was pretty helpful with directions and places to check out. Definitely agree with the other reviews about the atmosphere; felt more like a hotel but that's not necessarily a bad thing, I quite enjoyed it traveling solo.

The hostel is great, similar to those that I stayed in Switzerland. They are normally top rated compared to any others I've visited in Europe, but the price is almost the double. It has a high level of security with controlled access to everywhere. Breakfast is amazing and it is a walking distance from the lake and old town.

There were no proper kitchen facilities, WiFi did not work properly and no towels in the bathrooms. Staff were also rude and unhelpful

Location was great, close to the lake & many less expensive food options as well as the train station. The free breakfast was good. The lockers are in the hallway outside of the rooms but are large enough to fit a large backpack. Rooms are spacious but overall the atmosphere was a bit lacking since they went with more of a modern look. All of our group was put into the same room which was nice. Geneva is expensive but this is a good place to stay if you are looking for a less expensive option.

It's Switzerland so the Hospitality is at great and high level.Like it so much and really have a good team that works for this hostel. So far the best hostel I had experienced in Europe.Rooms are clean and staff are friendly and even after you check-in you received a transport card for your stay.It really helps a lot especially you want to travel far in Geneva, such as Cern or Nations which is also a nice place to visit.Location are great and most of the attractions are in walking distance.

Beautiful place. More like a budget hotel than a hostel. Very Swiss design - clean lines, lots of glass. That being said - this is NOT a youth hostel, so be aware that older adults are staying in the dorms.

Very difficult to meet people here. Facilities weren't particularly outstanding or clean but not horrible. Staff were more like a hotel than a hostel, no group activities planned or anything. Very expensive but that's the case with everything in Geneva.

very modern and clean building, only lacking atmosphere. the staff is much older than the travelers and does not organize any activities at night like in most hostels in Europe. You don't get a tour of the place when you arrive and you literally feel like you're disturbing the staff. I didn't feel comfortable asking them for any suggestions. Lastly, you have to pay after check out if you wish to leave your suitcase at the reception for a couple hours until your plane/train. A real shame.

Design of showers was good, you have your own area to place your stuff. There was a group of student at the hostel the night i I stayed there, so it was quite noisy during the night. I would say sound proof level of the door was quite low, i could hear people walking by before i fall asleep.

Me and my friends were kinly surprised at our arrival and very happy with the choice we made by choosing to stay in Geneva Hostel. Considering how expensive Switzerland is, the hostel is quite cheap and definitely worth the ammount we paid to stay. Except the really nice and clean rooms, the highlights for me were the lovely breakfasts in the morning, and the even lovlier customer service in the reception. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Geneva.

This is probably the best hostel in Geneva.

Our bathroom was quite dirty. One of the guys at the front desk was lovely whilst the other was unpleasant and seemed like he just wanted to get rid of me. Very big hostel not good fit young solo travelers. Loud of big school groups etc. you won't meet anyone. However I'd s comfortable hostel with good lockers.
