It is a very nice hostel, I almost felt like I was staying in a hotel. Breakfast was fresh eggs with fruit and/or arepas every morning which was also nice. The location is awesome, best if Medellin. With that being said, don't count on the staff for suggestions of where to go or eat. They were all very nice, but missing the charm of othe hostel staff I have encountered. Even when asked for a suggestion, there was never an actual answer given. Also, the showers were cold/warm, and always changing
Overall I had a great expierence there. Very clean and staff was very helpful! P
Hostel was clean, had friendly staff, and well located within Poblado, a trendy neighborhood with many bars and restaurants. Unforfunately, the rooms did not have AC and the fan did not help dispell the heat. Also, while I booked an all-female room, the last night there was a mix up with the reservations and two guys were placed in our room (not a deal breaker, but not what was expected). Overall, hostel was a bit quiet and warm, but a solid and clean place to stay.
Thought the key codes on the doors were a bit of a hassel (and noisy!) plus not difficult for everyone to know them which lessons the security. But the breakfast was great and the staff were incredibly friendly. Beds were comfortable and showers were nice & hot. Would happily stay here again!
Great location near Parque Lleras. Breakfast is simple + tasty: eggs, juice, and an arepa. Reliable wifi and spotless dorms, friendly cleaning staff there every day. But the place feels a little sterile. Staff are helpful when you ask, but they don't have much interest in creating a communal experience, so the place feels a bit like a hotel (even in shared dorm). They segregate travelers into male / female dorms (even if you didn't request it). Not ideal for solo travelers looking to meet others
Great place! Really clean. Trendy area. Cheap! Highly recommend.
Wi-Fi was slow, but worked. Breakfast was great - eggs and an arepa with juice and coffee. Third-floor dorm room was the best - had the terrace and tv and another bathroom which felt like it was your own home. The staff were friendly. The only negative was the cleaners/breakfast staff who were very rude, despite always being greeted pleasantly and politely. It was as if the whole world was coming down when they were asked for more toilet paper, which they hadn't refilled.
Ricardo and Daniel are fantastic. They helped us out with everything we needed - hostel requests to sightseeing and your options. The breakfast was great and made fresh every morning. The hostel was very clean but could definitely do with some more shared bathrooms and lounge areas. Only complaint really was that we were made to wait even after check out time since one of the employees forgot to clean the room. Thanks again !!
We enjoyed our stay in Geo Hostel! Perfect location, surrounded by restaurants and bars and just about 10 minutes walking to the next Metro station. You find the supermarket Exito close (a smaller one and a bigger one on the way to the Metro). On our first morning we were surprised that breakfast was included cause we did not know..haha. It was really nice - local arepas with cheese and eggs. You can also relax on the terrace having a beer, talking..we appreciated that it was not a party hostel.
Really nice hostel, with good and clean facilities. Well located in the neighborhood of Poblado, the area where you can find good nightlife in Medellin. The hostel, although in the middle of it, not noisy or uncomfortable. Only think I would say it could improve is to become a bit more social. Not exactly a hostel with a common area where everybody gather together as some others (far from bad in terms of that) Anyway, I recommend and surely is my choice of hostel once back Medellin!

Great terrace to relax or chill with friends. Located in a safe area very accessible to various activities. The only down point was that the room was very hot & the fan was not working well, making it difficult to sleep.
Has a hotel vybe. Very modern and clean. Not much atmosphere though. Staff was helpful and the breakfast on the week days was very good.
We had a room to the staircase so it was really noisy and stuffy, the only window was also to the staircase and reception! So when we came in the room at the end of the day it was always stinky and stuffy because you can't leave the window open, we had only a fan but it didn't help and leave the window open over the night was impossible because of the noise!!The bed was also not so clean...a lot of hair from the last guest.
The staff is friendly, hostel is modern, rooftop area is nice. Overall it really stood out as one of the better hostels in Medellin.
Great staff very accomodating and they will grow on you if you stay for a long time.
Great value, more like a hotel if you stay upstairs in the private bathroom rooms. The only negative I can think of is that, with there being so many people, the kitchen is often quite packed. If you're into eating out though, you won't need it!
Our experience from staying at Geo hostel have been almost entirely satisfactory! The staff was diligent, competent and service-minded, providing a level of service that left very little to be desired. On the one hand, its location was well removed from the Medellin city centre, but on the other hand this location put it within striking distance of restaurants, clubs, Metro connections and provisions. Cleanliness was superb! The WiFi, though, proved a bit dodgy at times, as well as the hot water
Great location in the heart of El Poblado. Really enjoyed the top floor of the hostel as you can sneak a pretty great view of the mountains and city lights at night. The room I stayed in was a bit stuffy - maybe an additional fan or vent would help with air circulation. All in all, I would definitely stay here again.
This hostel is nice, but it's a bit overrated in my opinion. The dorm room I was in didn't have air conditioning, even though it's listed in facilities. Also the showers were never really hot, just sort of barely warm. It is pretty chilled out though, and in a great location.
