Not a partyhostel, but very nice

Ingave the "hostel" a good rating because ther deserve it. I will only say that- it is not a hostel, or fits the needs of a trevelers. It is like an hotel only with dorms and low prices. No atmosphere, horrible to be in if your young and treveling. Again all great clean amazing facility, NOT for young people who wanna meet new people...!!!!

Geo Hostel is a really very nice place to stay. The rooms are very clean and spacious! The beds are very comfortable and there are many toilets available. In many hostels are not enough bathrooms! The staff is very friendly and gives useful advises. All the people who work and stay there are very nice people! If I return to Medellin I definately stay at Geo Hostel again and therefore I can highly recommend it to other travellers! The location is perfect and it's not a party hostel!

Mega clean! One guy of the staff was very helpfull and had a good English level. A big bad point is the house keeping lady who is so rude! Don't speak to her in the morning, she will kill you...

Probably the smartest hostel I've ever stayed in, it was definitely value for money when you compare the price with more expensive hotels. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was massive with nice en suite bathroom. Only two gripes I had were with the wi-fi as it was slow or difficult to connect to with my phone, and the noise from the street - the music from nearby bars and the traffic made it difficult to sleep. Loved everything else though.

The hostel was very clean and modern. It is located on a great street filled with little boutiques and restaurants. It felt much more like a hotel than hostel.

Nice and clean place.. it's like a mini hotel. Good location and amenities, but not your typical backpackers place.

In many aspects it's a great hostel (location, cleanliness...) but it lacks atmosphere. When I was there, there were many families and groups of friends so for solo travellers chances for meeting other people were kind of limited.

Excellent hostel, good location and quiet inside. Good call if you came to Medellín on business and need a good night's sleep.

This is where you want to be if you appreciate your sleep and if you like a quiet and clean environment to recharge during your trip. It is not a party hostel, it is not for those who want to socialize a lot in the common areas. Just people who appreciate peace and quiet after a long and busy day. Staff are real friendly. Breakfast is awesome. As some people have put it, almost like being in a hotel (at hostel prices). It is a bit far (20 mins walk) from the metro but no big deal.

First of all, the rooftop hot tub does not exist as advertised. Even though the hostel was clean and well ran, we felt it was too expensive for what they offered. We stayed there for 5 days and for the price one would expect a decent breakfast. However, majority of the days the breakfast was very poor and only consisted of 2 store bought pastries. Overall, it was a decent hostel in a safe neighborhood, however we recommend looking into other, cheaper options.

Excellent is a big word and I usually only use good or poor to describe a hostel; but for a hostel and for the price you won't find a better place; it is not the Hilton but then again it is not $600.00 US a night.

Great hostel! Despite the dorm rooms, this hostel felt like a hotel. The place is modern, right in the heart of El Poblado, and breakfast was very good for an included breakfast. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone passing through Medellin.
