Bedbugs all over the place.. I wouldn't stay here if I where you!! The staff just says you're allergic or that they will clean the sheets the next day but the bedbugs are walking on the ceiling, on the wall, on the beds. It's disgusting ! The next day you still feel It itch everywhere on your body

What a disaster!. It's nothing like the pictures on the website. You cant find the place without asking someone and you have to go trough all the shops in the building with people who look very suspicious and it does not feel safe. At my room there were 6 power plugs of which only 1 was working. Oh and the bed sheets were covered in bloodstains when I arrived. Later i discovered why.. you get accompanied in your sleep by thousands of baby spiders and they leave the stain when you hit them.

The location is about all thats going for this hostel, 5 mins walk to the ferry port and HK island which costs only pennies to take, quite literally. Bathroom is below average cleanliness and the room facilities are worn and dated. Small too but everywhere is in HK. The day and night hostel in the same building is far better. Joe - England

Six beds crammed in a tiny room -- defies anything I have seen in twenty years of traveling, and even by crowded Hong Kong standards which I am well familiar with. That might be forgivable had the facilities and staff conduct been better. But the staff LIED about room availability and did virtually nothing to take responsibility for that. I subsequently found lodging elsewhere in the same building at much better value for money and more respectful treatment.

The reception was not kind at all, the place is not as in photographs and the building is full of "watches" sellers. The building is dirty. If you are a girl I highly recommend to find another place. Bathroom is not so clean and the staff is just not friendly. Internet reception is good but don't go alone. However I've heard that the place one of the best options in the building, considering that some stairs had pee smell in the other places you can imagine the rest. It's cheap though.

You need to now how Chung king mansions is like. Search on Wikipedia! And all hostels in the building are cooperating, so it is not sure that you will be given a room in the hostel you booked. Germany hostel is the same hostel as Paris guest house, as City guest house... Good things: Cheap and close to everything. Good indian food in the building. Bad things: The rooms are very ver small, the staff is not so helpful, smells urine in the staircase. And they sell drugs on the street outside.
