Very clean and friendly hostel. Heinz was great and picked me up from the airport which was very hassle free after a long flight.

Heinz and his staff are really nice, and the premises are clean and are well secured (double doors, high walls, electric fences etc). The only problem i guess is that its fairly close to some dodgey parts so apart from going the shops (within 200m which is ok) you have to rely on taxis which in Joburg are just as expensive as in aust.

A cosy, nice place in a quiet and nice area. Good staff, close to city, nice pool and the cutest guarddogs ever seen!

Very good and unpriced hostel. Single rooms with bathroom is the same for a single room without bathroom at most hostels. Its very clean and spacious. Plus free breakfast or eat whenever you wake up.

Decent place. The German guy who runs this went out of his way to accomdate us (20 sports fans coming back at 3-5am every night) and the house is great. Locationwise its decent for the sports arena. would recomend this backpackers if you are staying in this part of town for some reason
