Location is not very good, you're between the city and the airport, but the area is just residential. Nothing around. Free pickup saves you $30. Also the WiFi is out at night, starting at like 10 or 11 and not back till 9. The rooms are huge as mentioned and pretty nice. It was cool to be in a historic building. The staff is nice but usually just one guy manning the place. We were there in slower season and it was really quiet. Didn't see other people the first two nights we were there.

A beautiful old home. First house built in Kensington and where Ghandi lived as a lawyer with his young family. One downside is the breakfast. White bread, margarine and cornflakes are offered. I bought my own food, labeled it and found that my food was eaten by other backpackers in the morning. Kris and Heinz are lovely hosts! Love the free airport shuttle service. Note...take Uber to get to Queen Street, etc. Far out of town.
