I will NEVER use the Gia hostel again and I mean it. No English (even basic), really bad service, staff with no people skills. When we arrived with reservation, turned out we couldn’t stay at hostel because room has been double-booked (we could assume it from staff behaviour) we’ve been quickly pushed out from hostel and drag 3 houses down to another one. We have booked en-suite room, we didn’t get it, the place was an average standard. We couldnt even complain because no one spoke English.

The location is great. The staff cheated on exchange rate and was not good at calculating. Watch out.

Really near to railway station, staff very kind, room big and comfortable but the shower in the dormitory is not very good, the water flow out really slow and poor. There is a free kitchen, laundry (but not free), pc position and wireless. Price very cheap (about 9 Euro dormitory). Good hostel

Although the location and price was good, the security of the dorm rooms made the stay a bit uneasy. No lockers or locks on the room doors, or even to the gates outside. It felt a bit unsafe. The dorm is close to the smoking common area in the foyer. The lady at reception tried charge us more than the correct price by using a higher conversion rate (luckily we read a previous review about this scam and were prepared!) It was a nice walk to town, and close to the trains. The room was clean.
