DREADFUL!!!! A breast-painting competition, really??? More rules than a bloody day care centre. Staff were not very good with checking in, billing, any sort of calculation or politeness in any shape or form! One socket in the room for SIX people! Food was food-poisoning-worthy. ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDABLE, clearly they cant manage this huge 700-bed hostel.

Gilligans is a great place to stay if you're looking to party. My female dorm was clean and quiet although other rooms i ventured into weren't quite the same it can get pretty noisy on the 1st floor and in some of the other rooms. Beds are comfy, all rooms ensuite and rooms have a balcony which is much better than other hostels nearby. Good drinks offers for residents at the bar too :o) x

Excellent, cleaning bathrrom everyday. Would stay again. Staff very friendly. Only thing would complain about is the promotions on the drinks two for 1. Each barstaff had a different idea about the promotion was confusing. Other than that loved it.

The line for reception is always long- quiet hours are NEVER enforced and the internet is too expensive for how slow it is.This hostel is great for anyone who wants to party the whole trip, not so great for those wanting to relax and get a good night sleep without people yelling from the bar below.

This is definitely a party hostel, so don't plan on getting much sleep. Some of the staff are pretty rude and the halls aren't that clean because people are drunkenly puking and peeing in the stairs. Use the lift.
