This is definitely a party hostel, so don't plan on getting much sleep. Some of the staff are pretty rude and the halls aren't that clean because people are drunkenly puking and peeing in the stairs. You dont come to Gilligans to sleep!!! =) Great place, with a mini-gym, pool, lush bar and free dinner!! Gilligans is not the place to go if you want to sleep. But it is an absolute blast. The staff are friendly, though the front desk is understaffed. I highly reccommend Gilligan's, especially if you're travelling alone. It's a great party...but I repeat do not come here for a quiet, relaxed holiday. Don't forget to check out the Woolshed bar...its within walking distance!Gilligans is not the place to go if you want to sleep. But it is an absolute blast. The staff were very rude and not very helpful. The kitcen facilities were a joke. If you want to go to a hostel and feel like a 'number' then this is the place to go.
