I spent 5 night in this hostel and all I can say is that it is awesome! The hostel is very big and it's very well located! We took the 4bedeoom with tv and fridge. The hostel was cleaned every morning just like a hotel would have been. Also the swimming pool and the bar is really cool. Finally, the hostel itself has one of the main clubs in the city and is 5 min walk from the other club. All in all I definitely recommend this hostel.

This is a party hostel. I enjoyed my time here, it has a lovely pool area, and great food/ drinks offers. It's well located and has a great club and various evening activities where you can easily meet people. Down points are that if you don't want to party and end up in a dorm where people do, then your in trouble as people may be drinking away until the early hours. The room I was in were pretty smelly as well. I'd spend a few nights here partying, then relax at dreamtime travellers rest.

Awesome hostel. More like a resort for backpackers! Big beds, flat screen in room, big kitchen on each floor. Cub for cheap drinks and good food just downstairs.

Great hostel. Definitely a party establishment, the bar downstairs is great and the travel desk is always willing to help. The pool and facilities are well maintained, and the kitchens are well stocked with cooking implements. Only issue is minor, they blast the AC in the rooms, which is fine during the day, but an issue at night.

This hostel was really clean, with all the facilities you need. It's very big so you are one more number, but the staff helped me with everything i needed. I will stay there again.

Our room didn't have lockers which wasn't great, but didn't have any problems. A really good and fun place to stay. Save the $10 weekend entry fee by staying here, for only $18 a night... great pool and bar!

Its a party hostel more like a hotel with no place to hang out. Its better for young groups not solo travellers

Nice hostel somewhat quite if you above the 2nd floor. 1st and 2nd floor can get pretty noisy with the bar and dorm parties. Wouldent reccommend for people who don't enjoy partying. The free food isn't very good, the 10 dollar meal deal is good for its price. Pool is nice, pretty good hostel to meet people

I stayed in the superior dorms (or whatever the classification was), and have to say I have never been in such a clean hostel, the staff really did a great job every day! The hostel its self is centrally located for everything you'll want to do in Cairns, whether that be partying or trips out! All in all great hostel, noise wasn't an issue at all, but that could just be as I was facing the street, and on the 3rd floor. Other rooms may not be so lucky! You expect it here though!

Great place to stay, plenty going on. Bar's good, rooms are excellent for party pre drinks. Has pool, kitchen, gym (apparently) & you get discounts in the main bar. Well worth the lack of sleep due to the partying that you will do :)

Hostel is too big so I couldn't feel the hostel atmosphere. First room we stayed at was extremely smelly, flush was not working well, shower was terrible. We asked to move to another room, which was much better. As the biggest party of the city is inside the hostel, music is really loud at night and you can also her all the drunk people. Nice place to go if you are under 25 and are looking for partying and drinking...

This hostel was built for backpackers, clean rooms, 6 bed dorms have so much room in them, nice balconies. Comfy lounge area on each floor with huge kitchens. Can upgrade the free meal each night for $5 so really cheap to eat and there's something going on in the bar or club every night. Only a 5 minute walk to the supermarket and bottle shop. Lagoon is ten minutes away - perfect!! Always full of backpackers so easy to meet other people starting or ending their east coast trip.

The hostel itself was great however the staff were extremely rude! The people behind the front desk did not want to help and clearly did not want to be at work. It ruined the stay and I would not recommend the hostel on that basis. They also charged $5 per person to store our bags once we had checked out. Not happy!
