It's a nice place to stay for a few days and a little peace'n quiet. Some things were a little bit weird, like why has the fridge to be where the staff sleeps at night? If you arrive after 11pm and want to drink your chilled alcoholic beverage , like me, then you can't. Anyway, I had a very good rest when I stayed at Gingko and a 24/7 grocery store is only half a block away.

everything is good, except the direction on how to get there from the international bus station. There is only one metro stop at the bus station and you do not need to change to another line.

The staff was kind and helpful. I appreciated the cleanliness and the location, very close to a subway station. I would have appreciated a reading lamp in the bedroom.

The staff was really helpful, giving me suggestions of places to visit, to eat hungarian food. Plus They were really nice, because even though I had already checked out, they let me leave my backpack (for free) at the storage room , so I wouldn't have to carry it around Budapest all day. (I got it at the end of the day before I left for the airport) The only complaint I have is about the heater, it was extremely warm(not in a good way), I woke up several times, sweating like crazy.

Its a really welcoming hostel, the staff is really nice, you feel like at home, you can sit in the living room take a tea or a coffee for free, i really enjoyed my stay there with my friends. The bedrooms are clean and warm! The location is perfect just 10 minutes by walk from the district with a lot of great bar! Thank you!!

NO NEED TO LOOK FOR OTHER PLACES! undoubtedly the best place where to stay in Budapest whenever I stay here I feel at home. Perfect location, walking distance to most sights and attractions (and to 24hr supermarkets), very easy access to both metro lines 2 and 3, very central but quiet and relaxing the staff are just wonderful, incredibly helpful and friendly. Although it\'s definitely not a party hostel, Csilla and her staff will be happy to provide their guests with good information and advice on the most

We enjoyed our stay in Ginkgo Hostel. The people and the place were quite nice and friendly. However the rooms and the staff werent that new and qualified they were quite clean. I think this is more important. Above all the place's location is the best to discover Budapest. It is very central and also very close to the places worth seeing.
