We hade a really nice stay at Giovanna Guesthouse. The whole family are fantastic hosts, so friendly and warm people and very helpful. It can be a little bit tricky to find the way there, although it is only about 5-7 minutes from the bus station. When we arrived in Kastel Luksic, the bus station in front of the botanical garden lacked a bus sign in the direction of Split, but there is a stop on this side too, opposite to the one on the garden side where you see a bus shelter (towards Airport).

I have stayed at the Giovanna House on a few different occasions and each time it has been just amazing. The family have gone out of there way to accommodate starting with welcome drinks to transportation. It's a nice area out of the way. Close to busses so you can get to Split very easily. Close to the beach and a market. Great kitchen and bathroom facilities and the wifi is amazing!!! Defiantly worth a stay.
Lovely, family run guesthouse with extremely friendly and welcoming owners. Clean and spacious room, with a balcony with beautiful views of the sea and mountains. The beach nearby the guesthouse is beautiful and away from the hoards of split tourists. Being located between Trogir and Split, you do have to travel in order to go sightseeing. Loved the homemade Grappa and Sherry!
Great family-run Guesthouse. It was a great opportunity to experience some real Croatian living! Rooms spacious and clean. The hospitality was more than friendly, the family helped us with things to do each day, directions, etc. The beach nearby was lovely, but it took a while on the bus to get into Split. Overall, a great stay!
The family is amazingly warm, welcoming and generous. Despite it being a bit outside of central Split, I would definitely stay there again. Our room was awesome, with an ocean view and the Grappa was homemade. :) we loved it!

The hostel seemed a little out of the way at first, we got a taxi from the airport, but its actually only a 10 minute walk straight up from the bus stop, our hosts were kind and welcoming with drinks on arrival. There was a communal area for eating with a very nice kitchen and dining area. Our room had a balcony and was a good size with amazing veiw of the sea, the place area is beautiful with a 15 minute bus ride to Trogir on the no 37. The only downside was no fan when it was very hot
Literally one of the best hostels we have stayed in! Always clean, the family is so friendly, and the kitchen and bathrooms were the best I've seen in two months! We will definitely be coming back here for sure, and would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Split! Beaches are close, grocery stores, bars, and hidden paradises. What a beautiful town with a beautiful hostel!!
It's a nice big house with plenty of washrooms. Pretty clean. However it gets very hot in the house and there's no air conditioning. Also it's located 30 minutes by bus outside of split.
Great place to stay. Owners are fantastic and very friendly people. We thought we were quite lucky to be staying away from a touristic place such as Split. Can be hard to find so GPS is probably a must. Also, remember to close all windows and doors at night or you will be eaten alive by mosquitoes - not the hostels fault of course.
This place was such a breath of fresh air!!! The owners were on site and very friendly - invited us in for liqueur and chatting about our day each evening. The bedroom was very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was also superbly clean and the showers nice and hot. There was even a very comfortable kitchen to use, though we ate out mostly. The view from our balcony was gorgeous!!! I would recommend having a car to stay here, as it is a short drive to the sites.
GPS coordinates some in different formats, and our TomTom gave us some trouble finding it. Use Google Maps.
As soon as we got there, they welcome us with a shoot of limoncello!!!! That was a Great Start. The owners of this guest house are a warm and nice family, they told us about all the nice spots in Split.. Kitchen facilities were amaizing, Our bedroom had a sea view, was spacious, clean, and confy. We had our own bathroom... And the rest of all was Lala (puppy) and the kitties.... We will defenitelly come back. (Location by driving a car its really easy with GPS)
