The host was excellent - very nice and helpful, friendly and much nicer than we have ever thougt possible. -a lilttle thing to improve the flat is a fold out dining table connected to the wall or the desk with bar chairs. Otherwise everything was really excellent. We give the best ratings for the host and the flat, however it is situated on smal hard to find suburban streets. but perfect for us between Spilt and the airport.

Dear Giovanna family! We a great stay in your guesthouse! Incredible first few days in Croatia. They made us welcomed from very beginning. Thanks for sharing your toys with Altai. We greatly enjoyed our stay! Best regards, Ivan, Bornaa and Altai

The owners are really, really nice. You can have a great chat with them while you drink a glass of wine. They even sent me my phone to Germany which I forgot there!!! In the Kitchen you can find everything and the rooms are comfy. The guesthouse is about 30 min away from the center of Split but there is a bus which runs every 20 min. Not far away is a restaurant ("Mammut" I think) I can't recommend that at all. The staff was bad and the food also. I didn't feel too great after eating there.

The level of hospitality from the family was amazing ! We ended up booking an extra 4 nights here so we could make it to the barbecue that they host for the guests and their family/ friends, which was fantastic. I would recommend this place for anyone. You would not regret it.

All beginned wrong with this guesthouse as they gave us a wrong adress we walked kms and lost 4 hours. The stuff accepted to come and take us with the car. The location is very bad, impossible to see it and in the middle of the moutain just behinf the highway. The beach (1 km ) is rather excellent. The last day, we were chocked with the treatment of the hosts. Actually thee had really fired us, when we wanted to change our clothes in the garden after a morning beach. The son is very annoying.

Giovanna guest house is fantastic! We could only stay one night unfortunately but wish we could have stayed longer! Alan is an amazing host and does anything to meet your needs. The place is between split centre and the airport which was perfect for an early flight. The apartment is brand new and very impressive. Easy to get to the town or airport via bus or a small fee to Alan. 10/10!

We had a very nice stay at Giovanna Guesthouse. We were welcomed at 11pm by a lovely family; the hosts. Even though we were warned it was indeed a bit tricky to find. We had an outdated map on car navigational system (2009). The street was there but unspecified. That's more a problem of the car rental service though. The room ensuite does have its private bathroom, but it's in the hallway and should be locked to prevent that other guests will use it. The extra costs do make it reasonable though.

This is a wonderful place to relax. It's outside of Split by about a 20 minute bus ride but in my opinion the distance away from the city makes this place more perfect. It's close to quiet towns s d beaches that are untouched by the hoards of tourists inside Split. We really enjoyed the area a lot.

We hade a really nice stay at Giovanna Guesthouse. The whole family are fantastic hosts, so friendly and warm people and very helpful. It can be a little bit tricky to find the way there, although it is only about 5-7 minutes from the bus station. When we arrived in Kastel Luksic, the bus station in front of the botanical garden lacked a bus sign in the direction of Split, but there is a stop on this side too, opposite to the one on the garden side where you see a bus shelter (towards Airport).

The family of this guesthouse are so sweet and kind! Very helpful! The hostel is located half an hour from the centre, so it's a bit to far. But the facilities of the guesthouse are great! Kitchen, terrace and everything you need is located in a 10 min. walk.

I have stayed at the Giovanna House on a few different occasions and each time it has been just amazing. The family have gone out of there way to accommodate starting with welcome drinks to transportation. It's a nice area out of the way. Close to busses so you can get to Split very easily. Close to the beach and a market. Great kitchen and bathroom facilities and the wifi is amazing!!! Defiantly worth a stay.

Lovely, family run guesthouse with extremely friendly and welcoming owners. Clean and spacious room, with a balcony with beautiful views of the sea and mountains. The beach nearby the guesthouse is beautiful and away from the hoards of split tourists. Being located between Trogir and Split, you do have to travel in order to go sightseeing. Loved the homemade Grappa and Sherry!

Great family-run Guesthouse. It was a great opportunity to experience some real Croatian living! Rooms spacious and clean. The hospitality was more than friendly, the family helped us with things to do each day, directions, etc. The beach nearby was lovely, but it took a while on the bus to get into Split. Overall, a great stay!

The family is amazingly warm, welcoming and generous. Despite it being a bit outside of central Split, I would definitely stay there again. Our room was awesome, with an ocean view and the Grappa was homemade. :) we loved it!
