This is the best hostel you will ever stay at! It's clean. The host sits you down for an hour with the map and tells you everything about Napoli, you can tell he loves his country and loves what he does. He cooked free 2-3 course meals every night, I ended up staying an extra night because the food was amazing and there's lots more to see in Napoli than people think, if you go to this hostel you will know what to do...it's worth a visit just for this hostel...will definetly stay again

in the beginning i was weary about the trip to Naples since heard that the crime rate was high. but Giovanni made me feel comfortable with the 1 hour briefing and a amazing Italian food. He also had it special map which highlights the route to take. Overall it has been a wonderful experience.

There really is no limit to Giovanni's hospitality. I'd experienced his convivial conversation, good counsel and cuisine the last time I stayed here, but this time I discovered his exceptional generosity when I arrived without a cent, having had my wallet stolen on the train. Thanks, Giovanni, for everything you did for me. I'll be back next year.

Great location in the midel of Naples old town! Great Hospitality. Everything was fine during my stay, only the beds were a little strange but I slept like a baby, so no complaints about that. Fast internet and great outdor terrace where you can relax! The hostel has no space where you can unlock your things inn. But the owner said that he is watching so I took his word, and I felt safe to leave my passport in the room. he could invested some money in a sofa for even better relaxation.

Giovanni is a great hostel owner he will sit you down when you arrive and tell you all about Naples - he'll set you straight on the facts - Bologna and Florence have more pick pockets than Naples (he emphasises that!), he even has a crime statistics report from the police. He'll also explain that Naples is much better culturally than the north (true!) and he'll introduce you to all the food and sightseeing places around the place - essentially help you plan. He even cooks for you!

Ciao Giovanni! The gentleman who runs this place is a sweetheart and will give you one of the best sit-down explanations of city sights you're ever going to have. He wants you to love Naples as much as he does, and it shows. Bonus points for occasional free pasta! Bonus points for the pet birds!

If you want a home away from home experince in Naples than look no further. Giovanni does everything to make your stay enjoyable (and listen to him, because he is always right about everything) A great palce to meet people, explore the heart of Naples or take trips outside the city, and of course, your homebase for amazing Italian cooking! We love Giovanni!

Giovanni is great and it feels more like a home than a hostel. He cooks fantastic pasta and really watches out for you as a father would (although it can be a bit intense) and celebrated my birthday with seafood pasta and cake. The only bad thing is that there are toilet seats!

This hostel gets great reviews because Giovanni is very helpful and friendly but at the same time he is very opinionated about where he wants you to visit and where he doesnt. As well he wont let you come back to the hostel drunk and discourages anyone from going out past 10pm. \ But he makes amazing pasta everynight and lets you drink at the hostel. he smokes like a chimmney so careful if that bothers you. Its not a place to party. It has free internet. Beds are noisy and uncomfortable.

Napoli has been my favorite city out of all of Italy because of Giovanni. He gave me so much useful information, cooked so much amazing pasta, and really treated me like family. If you are looking for a home, come to Giovanni's. If you are looking for a hostel, please look elsewhere. He puts everything into keeping each person safe, cultured, and happy, so if you decide to stay here, please understand and respect the advice he provides. He is also soooo much fun if you spend time with him!!
