Giovanni was an icredible man and always very helpful and full of advice on where to go and what to eat. Apart from not having a mirror inside one of the girls dorms and an oven that does'nt work - the hosyel itself was great. Giod value for money, i'd recomend it.

I've never stayed in a hostel where from the moment you walk through the doors to the moment you leave it's filled with happiness and light. Giovanni has a passion for his home and he shows it with every word that comes out of his mouth and every action he takes. I could not have spent a better three nights in Napoli then in Giovanni's home. Not only is the hostel clean, extremely well located, and comfortable but Giovanni spends the first 40 minutes of your stay explaining things to do!!

Giovanni is very gracious and wants his guests to enjoy their time in Naples. He does an excellent orientation to the city. Facilities are average and there are 4 flights of stairs to consider.Rooms are crowded.

Best hostel and the best host. We love Giovanni! If you are traveling to the south of Italy, stay here. It is a great price, great food, and you get access to the best parts of Italy by boat, train and bus

Very close to great pizza at Gino Sorbillo's! Walkable from the train station - it takes about 20-30 mins. The metro can take longer, due to the waiting time.

Giovanni is a very welcoming host. He greeted me with a glass of water and cooked us both lunch - which was delicious. The place has a very homely feel to it, and Giovanni provides plenty of advice for things to see and places to eat.

Giovanni treated us like a father and did a really good job in bringing all the travelers together. At night, groups (or sometimes just one big group) of people would sit around the table in the lounge (or in the terrace) and talked to each other. So this is a good place to meet other travelers. Personally, my stay in Naples was made delightful by two friends I met in the hostel. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. But don't expect anything more than regular hostel facilities.

The owner was very welcoming and informative and made sure each guest was comfortable and had a schedule to follow to get the most out of their stay. The atmosphere was friendly and chatting and sharing day trips with the other guests was encouraged.

Giovanni will make sure you get all the information you need to be safe to romp around town. Nice and genuine person who cares about your security. I was thinking that he was concerned too much.. not until it actually happened to me when I was in another part of Italy.. his warning was actually true!! So listen to him.. he was right all along about traveling in Italy. Oh and his pasta was the best I had when I was in Italy! ^^ Thank you !!

While it's a bit of a challenge wheeling a suitcase up the cobbled stone streets and several flights of steep stairs, it's well worth it for a stay at Giovanni's. The facilities themselves are fine- a lot of slightly bumpy beds to a room, decent bathrooms & common area, but Giovanni and the atmosphere are fantastic! Giovanni is a great host- incredibly helpful & kind, and he truly loves Napoli. The hostel draws a great, friendly crowd- plan on having a group dinner in by Giovanni!

“Wonderful hostel, Giovanni is great, and this family-friendly environment was just what we needed after long days walking. Naples has some wonderful areas, many more than we were expecting. Be sure to explore the Museums and Castles along the water. We have an amazing trip and having a great hostel to return to each night just added to the overall trip.”

Great Hostel! Giovanni is a really nice guy, the day i arrived he instantly gave me a glass of water and pasta and he just talked about 1 1/2 hour about Naples, the History and which Places you need to see. He also offers you a map and his self-made route (which contains a lot of interesting places) and a lot off other marks, which are really helpful to get around Naples! I`ve stayed there a Day longer `cause it was a very cool Atmosphere in the Hostel and you just feel like you`re at Home...

Giovanni's home is the ideal place to stay if you want to explore the most of Naples in a short amount of time. Giovanni is very helpful and informative when it comes to explaining activities to do in the city. He gives you a map and marks off places to go. He also gives you a train map to Ercolano, Vesuvius and Pompeii with information on how to get there. The hostel is very well maintained and the rooms and bedspread are kept clean. Overall, a very good, economical choice for travelers
