Giovanni is a great person and it was because of his warmth an passion for Napoli that I enjoyed the city so much. Napoli is my favorite city out of it Rome and Florence. Napoli is not just a stop on the way to Pompeii but a city with more culture than Rome and Florence combined.

If you are visiting Naples and you actually want to experience the real Naples, you must stay here! Giovanni is a gem and one of the most special people we met during our one month travels around Italy. He truly made our visit to Naples one of the most amazing experiences, as you can see from the other reviews! FYI this is not a party hostel. We will be coming back to Naples and will definitely be staying with Giovanni again = )

Giovanni is the heart and soul of this hostel. He goes above and beyond to make your visit to Naples one of a kind. My husband and I visited with 3 young children and our senior parents, and everyone agreed that Giovanni's Home was a great experience. CONS, three flights of stairs, a little run down, not the best neighborhood. PROS, good location to metro and attractions, GREAT VALUE, and LOVE Giovanni xoxo

Giovani 's home is awesome!! This hostel made our stay! Giovani is a star and cooked us pasta every second night! His food is amazing! The location is great. Giovani also gave us one of the best run downs of the city we've ever had, telling us all the must see sights in Naples. Would definitely stay here again!

Great hostel and Giovanni is one of the nicest individuals you will ever meet. His cooking is magnificent and a great way to get a glimpse of Italian food culture. The rooms are clean and you feel safe leaving things in your room. Location is prime and Giovanni's crash course on Napoli is awesome when you arrive. He even gives you a map with places to see and areas to avoid. I would definitely recommend this hostel and already miss my new, dear friend, Giovanni!

Favourite city in Italy, great food, great coffee, great people, lots to see, old world feel, and Giovanni will talk you through everything there is to do (and probably also how to make some nice pasta dishes). Will definitely stay here again at some stage.

Giovanni's home really is his home, and yours when you stay here. He cooks amazing food most nights and encourages his guests to join with him and share stories and eat. You will not feel like you are just a number here. This is my second time and will not be my last. Do yourself a favor and stay at this classic Italian hostel. Wifi is great and Giovanni is your own personal guide for Napoli. I would give 110% if I could. Extremely clean too! You will leave with a new friend in Giovanni.

Giovanni was extremely hospitable and welcomed me into his house. I felt more like a friend staying there rather than a customer of the hostel. He cooked a meal for us all every night which was amazing. Definitely recommend it!

Giovanni was AMAZING!!!! i liked the hostel so much I stayed an extra night. Giovanni makes you feel at home and is a great cook. I will be back. The most relaxed, comfy, inviting hostel I have ever been to.

Great Hostel :) Giovanni is amazing, obliging person! He gave us many Informations about Napels and nearby, offered for us all Guests good Dinner and Wine! His pasta is so so good!! I'll be back!

Giovanni truly and honestly cares about each individual who stays in his home. Though quite over protective, I appreciate his help and orientation to the city. He has recommendations for everything and will help you to make plans and navigate around Napoli, as well as surrounding cities. He is very trustworthy and honest.
