Overall good and clean, except for the lady's showers in the evening-these were really disgusting, full of hairs.
The hostel is just a short and convenient bus ride away from Sydney Central. It is a bit harder to make friends at this hostel than in other ones like Sydney Central YHA. I don't understand why Australian hostels don't have free WIFI available for everyone as it is available everywhere else for free. The rooms can get a bit stuffy when it gets hot as there are only fans in the dorms. It's cheaper than other hostels but I would pay more to stay in the city centre.
Great hostel with awesome staff. Out of the city for a good night sleep but still close enough to get in and out. Met some really cool people here whom i will continue travelling with. Loved this hostel and will definitely be back!

Really good atmosphere in the hostel and quite a lot of public space (living room, rooftop, game room, etc.) which is really nice. The area around the hostel is really nice, especially for a run or walk. There are two things that keep me from returning: 1) the rooms were really really hot - even at night, I'd definitely wish for air conditioning to be installed in the rooms. 2) I need to take a plane back to Australia ;-)

Glebe Point YHA is at a quiet neighborhood with a lot of shops just within walking distance. You can catch bus 431 back/fro to the city jist right ouside the hostel. This is where you can relax after a long day of sightseeing and make a few friends. You won't see the usual things in most of the hostels: party crowd, overcrowdedness, dirty, broken furnitures and walls, insects, etc. It is a gem of a hostel with reasonable price.
Not a place you can meet people but has a really cilled vibe
location in nice neighborhood outside of downtown, on direct bus line to circular quay and tourist destinations. nice staff with good suggestions and info. only disappointment was no parking despite being listed as having free parking on hostelworld online- arrived with car after having searched with parking as a need and found only street parking with strict restrictions on weekdays. luckily we were there over a weekend so parking was ok, but others arrived with the same confusion
