The hostel is in located in a nice neighborhood with many restaurants and small stores. The bus stop is almost across the road and it only takes about 15 min to the cbd. The staff is nice and helpful. I paid $10 for WiFi which barely worked so I wouldn't recommend to get it. They have luggage storage which you have to pay for ($6-12) depends the size and time. The breakfast is ok (corn flakes, bread, jam) and I liked the outdoor area a lot because it's very green :)

Good atmosphere for anyone looking for a longer stay in Sydney; location away from city center so a quieter stay compared to some hostels in CBD.

Pros: the facility is well-run, in good condition and clean, given the volume of visitors. It was a pleasure to see a shower alcove free of mouldy grout – a rarity. Cons: Very sticky door edges (bathrooms & dorm) and rungs to the top bunks; outside tables grimy; foul odour from the bathroom floor waste. Improvements: 2 larger clothes hooks in bathroom to put gear on; 1-2 sturdy fold-away chairs for top bunkers to have somewhere to sit.

the 10 bed dorm was quite messy, due to lack of place to store baggabe. More than one chair would be great for the people who got the upper beds.

I was expecting a lot more from this place. the atmosphere was a little dead and it was all in all pretty unclean. Nothing like its sister location in Melbourne.

Could use some more room raids for dishes, cups and cutlery. Other than that a nice place to stay.

I hate that everyone doubles their prices during New Years. It feels like robbery. That said, friendly, helpful staff and spacious rooms. No lockers. Cool area. I'd stay again if the price was reduced.

I think the 'good' rating sums up this hostel. Pretty solid place to stay, nothing outstanding. Nice outside area and the breakfast is good. It is a bit far out but that's not to bad. About half hour walk to city/world square. Pretty clean. Staff are nice friendly and helpful, if a little firm and short with you once it gets after 10pm. No stairs to my top bunk though. Which was a nice challenge each night when trying not to wake the dude in the bunk below. Not many toilets. A solid stay

Free breakfast, which is always nice. Could do with aircon instead of ceiling fans.

Only stayed 2 nights. I didn't spend my day at the hostel so I can't talk about the atmosphere but the place is comfortable to sleep, has easy access to buses to go to the city. The suburb where is located is cute.

Finally, I stayed 1 week in this hostel. It's a very good place, I recommend +++++

Glebe is in a part of town wich is very green with nice cafées and such, but a bit further for the center (wich for me was no problem at all). Very chill and relaxed atmosphere, it's like your one big happy familly. A beautifull garden too chill out and a resonably good kitchen, nice wooden floors, friendly and helpfull staff.
