No plug sockets in the rooms, wifi and signal was dodgey and we found it not very clean for the expensive price. Lovely staff and location though.

The hostel was clean and the staff incredibly friendly. It was conveniently located next to Ben Nevis, but a bit far from Fort William with few options on how to get there (1 bus per day, walking, or taxis). The kitchen was fully equipped, but the rooms did not have an outlet for charging phones or other electronic devices.

Stayed at the hostel the night before Glencoe Marathon as the buses left from just along the road. Great value hostel, absolutely spotless and with a huge modern kitchen with plenty of crockery and pans for making giant pasta meals. Only down side was there wasn't a power outlet near the bed to charge my phone but there were plenty in the living and dining area.

+ The location is great, though a little bit hard to get there. Buses from the city only leave at 16:55 or so. + The dining room is great. Kitchen is very nice. + The staff was also very kind, but - I felt there were few working there, and they were pretty busy most of the time. - No plugs in the rooms. - Ovens turn themselves off every couple of minutes. - Wi-fi didn't work for over a day.

Patrick as a receptionist, concierge and guide was fantastic (ps I did't know Patrick or the team at the YHA before visiting Glenn Coe) Great, friendly, and clean and looked after facilities.
