Glen Nevis Youth Hostel Reviews

Nice location, especially for Ben Nevis-walkers. Its only a pity that there isn't a good bus connection (only once in 1,5 or 2 hours a bus). The hostel looks nice with good facilities. Unfortunately no sockets in our room so I had to spend a few hours in the common lounge for charging my phone. The negative thing is that everything extra is paid. Because this isn´t a cheap hostel, I was expecting that more facilities (like wifi) should be free.

Great hostel. Quite small but clean, good facilities, kitchen, lounge wifi etc. A bit of a walk out of town but location is still good. If you have your own transport then don't worry but if your on foot just be prepared for the fact you will need to walk! Staff were helpfull.

literally at the base of the trail leading up to Ben Nevis. nice large kitchen, good beds, showers, etc... met some other friendly travellers there.

Very good over all. Only compliant is the slightly dirty dishes.

My friend and I only stayed one night at the hostel but we wished we's stayed longer! The location was great for us because we wanted to walk up Ben Nevis and the views were wonderful. The staff were really friendly and laid back and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. I'll definitely be going back and would recommend the hostel to anyone.

In all a very pleasant stay. Staff were pleasant and most helpful (in particular when helping to retrieve my climbing partners lost boots!). Our dorm was a little hot and stuffy though.

Nice big,clean,well equipped kitchen.Decent lounge,good staff,tidy hot showers,good drying room. Wifi is much too expensive and front entrance could do with a sensor light.
