It was nice, very clean and comfortable. Nice lounge room with fire. Not may people there when I was there. It was a great location during the day in the forest, but at night you couldnt go anywhere due to no street lighting on the road.

There was a great drying room which is so important when walking. There is a well equipped communal kitchen and a good size sitting room with a log fire. The staff were very helpful, but the hostel is a mile from the nearest pub and a mile and a half from the centre of Glencoe, so if you are not planning on catering for yourselves, it is worth bearing this in mind.

The welcome could ahve been friendlier, it was very basic, after calling on the intercoma nd waiting for someone to come and check me in, i just got given the door codes and left to it, no mention of toilets or check out procedure or anything. Hostel itself was fine with comfy beds and warm roms, its just the welcome that needs a polish, not what you expect from the highlands.

Not worth the money! I paid £5 more at other places which were 100times better more clean and much more friendlier!

A very nice place, although toilets/showers could be improved.

The staff was friendly and willing to give advice on hiking tours. The bedroom was nice, the bathroom was a bit rustic. The kitchen was big, clean and well supplied. Worth its money!

What I like more was the location. It is in a very nice place. What we dislike were the toilets (not clean), the room was really small for 8 people and the smell.

Very pleasant place to stay for a solitary walker. I was there on a night when nearly everyone else was a French speaker - good for keeping my French in trim. I would return, hopefully with better weather.

Nice reception, warm and frendly bedrooms. Quite cheap. Bathrooms and toilets a bit cold.
