Breakfast at 8.30 was a bit late for us. Showers were push button and very slow to produce hot water.

The Manageress and staff are a credit to Ireland. No wonder people want to go back again. If only every one in the world was like this. your motto seemed to be "NO PROBLEM" and nothing was. THANKYOU.

Overall I liked the place, however, I would expect that the staff would have better knowledge of how to access buses etc. as I wanted to get to Waterford from the hostel and they just said go back to Dublin instead of taxi a taxi to rathdrum and grabbing the 133 to wicklow and then onto waterford.

AMAZING location for the incredible hiking in Glendalough...it was easy to get to by St. Kevins bus from Dublin. Very clean, nice beds (not all bunks). Dorm room window had amazing view of meadow and lake. Very peaceful. On the negative, they weren\'t friendly on check-in and seemed very frusterated that people were arriving already. However, this is when the only bus arrived, so they shouldn\'t have acted so surprised and annoyed with us. Staff was not very helpful or friendly.

Nice location and really cosy hostel :-). I felt like home, had a wonderful room, and the kitchen is great! There's also a nice garden area where you can enjoy the sun. It's not a place to have parties all night, but for relaxing the best you can get! Bring your own breakfast, because its f*** expensive (8 Euro) and you can't buy anything in Glendalough.
