The address on hostel world is misleading, it needs to state that the property is Roslindale not just Boston. The place needs to be cleaned more, it was very dirty! especially the bathroom, the only room that was clean was the bedroom.

No lockers for use. In a rather dodgy area, but a lot of security on front door and door to hostel. Good value for money, but if you want to into Boston you'll have to get a cab - a bus takes far too long- and then take the train a few stops, so money will be needed for that (it's around $10 to get to the train station from the hostel). Wifi is very good and the facilities and hostel itself were generally very clean, but it's very hot in the room and there were no lockers to store valuables.

》 The staff was very welcoming & friendly and made time for great conversation which created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Staff friendliness was a plus in my desire to use the facility in the future. 》The location was fine but the hostel sign was hidden by tall grass. In conversation with other guests, there's slight difficulty in knowing the correct building. 》 With the summer heat, more fans were needes or a cooling unit. The cleanliness of the facility seemed to be relied upon by guests.

The bathroom was quite dirty, and I still don't understand why they put both sexes of guests on the same floor. I really felt disturbed every morning as I saw a half-naked man. Plus, if you're not able to provide proper breakfast, then take that off from the service list you advertise. Well, I don't think they can move their location, which is somewhat away from the downtown center area, but I think the guests should be informed that the area might not be safe for them to commute.

They mention on the internet that they provide breakfast, but they did not. We also talked with other guests who stayed longer than us and none of them got a breakfast. There is only one bathroom for over 15 people and was dirty. The owner said that the train station was 8 minutes walk away but it was over HALF an HOUR. Most of the beds were shaky even though we just slept on it. There was supposed to be female room for 4 people but it turned out to be that it was for 6 people and mixed.
