I really loved this place, though don´t expect a trad. hostal setting, it is more like a small private pension. This being said, the location is perfect for party-lovers, since Lapa and the famous Friday night street party is just around the the corner, Centro is close, and buses run to the beaches. The hosts are LOVELY and being being tour guides they offer excellent guided tours and are very knowledgable. Also, don´t be deterred by the scruffy looking neighborhood, it is perfectly safe!
