I think they forgot to include insulation in the walls when they built the Global Backpackers' building...

Even though the building is falling apart a little, it has it\'s own unique character. Good on sight bar with heaps of friendly staff and fellow backpackers. It has a great social patio where you can enjoy a cheap drink and basic dinner with your new found friends. Located close to Toronto Island and the CN tower although it\'s a long walk to the downtown bus station. Would definitely stay here again on my return travels. WiFi is pretty bad but free.

Nice friendly hostel. Had a private room very basic, no a/c. but just used for sleeping. 2 toilets & 1 shower per floor (for men) made them a bit smelly at times but it was fine.

Great location, showers were filthy though and there were no girls toilets on my level. Wireless internet also didn't work. Could do with a bit of a renovation. Helpful staff.   Read Owner Comments
