The room we stayed in was so noisy, that as soon as the trams got started around 6am it was impossible to sleep.

Cheap place to lay your head. Place could do with a total refurb though, it's really tired and grubby looking, housekeeping clearly work hard but they are fighting a losing battle. The breakfast wasn't all that, could do with maybe offering a choice other than either pancakes or rice crispies. Spot on for location, near everything pretty much! It can get pretty loud at night, especially on the weekends due to the bar. Staff were friendly and helpful. But the location is the major perk!

We had to wait for 10 minutes before someone finally came to make our check-in. Bed linen was dirty, the bedroom's key did not work, they had problems with the internet at this time (no wi-fi and impossible to pay by credit or debit card), and on top of it : mice crossing the room during the whole night !!! When we checked out, the guy at the counter didn't even ask if we were satisfied. Really : DON'T GO THERE ! I wouldn't even pay 5 dollars to sleep in such a place.

The slanty stairwells have become fixed in my memory, and the lemonade that came with the free breakfast may have been the sourest thing I have ever tasted. If you are looking to shower, avoid the fourth floor bathrooms, and go to the 00 level as it is much nicer and has doors which close instead of funky curtains. Fantastic location, however, and best price for a dorm on the site in Toronto.

This was the first time I felt segregated from a hostel community. It was a bad and boring experience and not much insight into the city was given by the front desk. The bar is also a reminder of an awkward prom where those that work at the hostel are gathered with the bartender drinking and telling stories, neglecting to serve drinks to everyone else.

The location is the best part! A short walk from anything you could want to do in downtown Toronto! However, upon speaking with my French roommate, found out that there had been mice in his room. Not the most appealing thought to have before putting your head down to rest! If they fixed that, I'd have no issue with the place but until then, I'd likely take my business elsewhere.

This hostel is filthy, being a manager of a hostel in Australia and travelling through hostels throughout Australia, New Zealand, Bali and Canada, this is by far the worst hostel I have ever stayed in! There were mice all through the kitchen and bed rooms, when you couldn't see the mice you could hear them scurrying through the walls as you try to sleep, the bathrooms were blocked the entire stay I was there and the staff would not fix it even after being asked too, the desk staff are more inter

Overall it was an OK hostel. There were mice in the rooms and no sign of traps or anything to get rid of them. It's like the staff think it's ok to have rodents running around your room. Another thing is that the bar is open every night of the week so its very hard to get to sleep with the loud music. The lack of female toilets upstairs is annoying. The beds are noisy. They do a great deal on the Niagra Falls tour, very good discount.

Dirtiest hostel ever. Unfriendly staff. Disgusting kitchen. Did I mention unfriendly staff.. mice everywhere. At one point there was not one working toilet. No maintenance staff whatsoever, so yeah, will never go back.

I'm going to be blunt. The ONLY good thing about this place is the location. The bathrooms are mouldy, and one of the toilets on our floor was out of order. The temperature of the water in the showers is impossible to control, constantly switching between freezing cold and burning hot. The sheets provided are too small for the beds. The hostel has mice. Added to this, the bar downstairs is loud enough to make the beds shake, and they're open every night until 3am, making sleep impossible.
