The staff was pretty nice and helpful. For security reasons I would suggest fixing the balcony doors, by the way, does the racoon belongs to the hostel? The kitchen really needs some air!!! It´s like a dirty sauna there in the evenings. You should also check that "room-booking-and-pricing-thing" on since there seem to be a problem with booking double rooms or twin rooms which is a big diffence in my opinion. Thanks anyway.

Why not sweep the balconies of cigarette butts, condom wrappers etc every now and again?

No free calls possible, computers with internet access were all four days we stayed there defect, the bed wasn't the cleanest, no wardrobe in the chamber, the tv in our room wasn't in service and the kitchen stank. But besides it we had a good time in kensington :-)

Really good Hostel, I've stayed twice and never had any problems. Great location as well, your literally next to Kensington market. Staff very friendly and helpful. Quite basic but if your not going to spending a lot of time in the room itself then it doesn't really matter. The hostel I would choose to stay in if I'm in Toronto.

Stay at toronto hostel was okay, location really cool in kenongston market.. we went all attractions by feet. Staff was friendly, okay. U have a guest kitchen, which is big, but it smells and everything is really old. Rooms and toiletts were ok, everything old, bed was not very comftable, but for a short say enough. Bad was that it smelled so hardbas you entered the 3thd floor, i dont know iif it was collur or what it was.. also in our room it smelled, wr had to open first our winfdow. Po

Right on the corner of Augusta and Colllege in Kensington. Great location, heaps of cheap and nice places to eat and drink. Only about a15 min walk to central downtown (Entertainment district ) Staff are really friendly and helpful. The hostel itself is quite big so maybe a little more difficult than others to get talking with other travellers but you'll find other hostel residents in the many surounding bars/resturaunts and cafes. Found the hostel to be safe and secure. Chilled out spot.

I would have liked a deadbolt on the door, and the front desk didn't always have someone available, but overall it was what I expected and wanted.
