This is the second time i have stayed at global village. i love this place. the staff are super friendly and they make it like a second home. The little dog that's there is cool too. The place is always clean too. It seems to be a good size too, the kitchen area is great..its not too big, so its easy to meet people and make friends. If im ever going to Belfast i will always stay here

The hostel is very nice and very well located, close to several bars and restaurants as well as to the city centre. there are no lockers in the bedroom where I stayed. there is the only problem I found. anyway I recommend it and would stay there if I go to Belfast again.

We loved this hostel and wish it could move around with us on the rest of our travels! It felt like we were staying at a friends house. It has a great atmosphere and the staff really make it a place you want to hang around. The hostel itself is in a great location for everything. Special thanks to Brett for booking our black taxi tour and Colette for being so friendly and welcoming. Mark is doing a great job with his team. It's super clean and it is the BEST place to stay! P.s Buju is adorable!

We arrived on a Saturday night and it was lovely. Right away they suggested a Black Taxi tour which was really fun and invited us to a $5 BBQ. The area around the hostel caters to the students of the Queens University, so it's pretty cheap. The staff was fun, helpful, and the facilities were very clean. I would definitely stay there again if I head back to Belfast.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and showed me around. My room was large and spacious . The hostel is close to Botanic Station, which is also a big plus when you arrive on Europa Station (saves you a long walk). Brings you also in 20 minutes to Ulster Folk museum of transport and to the Titanic Quarter. There is also a pleasant common room.

The hostel was unbelievably clean, they are in a great location which is really close to Queens and the staff are fantastic. Especially, make sure you have a drink with Brett the thunder from down under.

Staff was very friendly. Unfortunately the bed itself was very noisy, couldn't move without causing a loud squeak... This plus the one guy who snored made it quite difficult to get any decent sleep, even with earplugs.

The staff, particularly Mark and Fox, are a class act; always helpful and willing to have a good time. The building is well suited for social interaction: big tv and couches in the lounge, one of the most well-equipped kitchens I've seen, an outdoor patio, and multiple well-kept bathrooms. In sum, this is a chill, fun, and very social place; guitars lying about, and a stereo to plug in your ipod. Steps away from Botanic Ave with restaurants, pubs, and students; highly recommended hostel.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Global Village & I can't complain about anything! I stayed at quite a few hostels during the last year & this one is definately my favourite! The hostel is close to the city centre & in a good area, the rooms are tidy & comfortable, the staff is easy going and very helpfull. Above that you'll get a nice breakfast & you could also use the kitchen. There are also loads of extras like a table football, free wifi & a nice living room (including DVD's & paddles).
