Looks like it's been recently refurbished. Rooms are very spacious and well equipped, beds are comfy and showers are modern and clean. Friendly atmosphere and walking distance from city centre, cathedral, river, shops, etc. Great value.

Very nice people. Bathrooms were excellent. Outstanding! I couldn't believe my eyes when I walked inside them. No lockers in my dorm which is why I rated security as v poor. Internet was good.

I've stayed twice at this hostel now. Very friendly staff. The refurbished bathrooms are nice. However, both times of my stay there was a very foul smell in the 6-bed dorm that I was staying in which was very annoying.

the location is good, very close to city centre and coach station. the staff here are very friendly and helpful. the toilets and shower rooms are just refreshed, looks very new and good quality. Kitchen is tidy and clean, the staff really did good work. bed quality is also good, but of course you cant expect that bedclothes are new in a hostel~ I dont really like the duvet though, too small ,I think that's the only thing bad I can say. Worth to stay.

Great hostel, clean and spacious showers. A little expensive for a hostel but overall definitely worth staying at.

We spent two nights here and thought it was very comfortable. Great place to stay. Short walk to the train station.

I loved the feel of the place here. The kitchen is not ideal... quite cramped with no windows, but everything is there. The room was spacious with nice windows, and the common area is pretty chill. Generally a great and safe place to stop, but I found it a bit overpriced for the off season. You will definitely get sleep here, which is nice :)

I had a great stay at Globe Backpackers- I was looking for somewhere quiet to sleep (NOT a party hostel) and found it here. The staff were lovely even when I had to check out a little earlier than planned, the bathrooms were the cleanest hostel bathrooms I have ever seen and I would definitely stay here again. I do wish there were lockers in the rooms though, and if you are looking for a party hostel, this is not it.

Great, friendly and helpful staff. Quiet-good for rest. New showers are good but sensor lights turn off too soon, got annoying.

The staff were rude and confrontational while we were trying to sleep. There were no showers available to use during our stay which led to us having to use the sink in the bathroom on the bottom floor to wash, the showers were meant to be off 10-12 for work to be carried out, but come 2pm they were still unavailable. The other people in the room were also very rude, getting verbally abusive when we went to bed at different times than them and used the plugs.

We enjoyed staying there in a few days. The behaviour of staff particularly, Max and Tom was braliant. Many thanks for offering us that place.

I did enjoy my stay however the showers were under renovation so there was only 2 and one of them didnt have a shower curtain. Otherwise everything else was good.
