Fantastic excellent quality hostel. Teleol,e were really friendly and interested in my stay. The beds were so comfortable and not too crushed together in the rooms. The showere were AMAZING. Free tea and coffee at all times, free wifi, iron and ironing board. The best hostel I ever stayed in, definitely.

Atmospheric place in lovely city, although traffic islands and road crossings by the hostel are quite hard to cross, especially arriving at night, so be careful. I didn't hang out particularly, but the sofas downstairs are nice for a loaf around and have a small library of books to browse through. Useful kitchen nearby, and the place is very central to Exeter once over that road. The only downer was that sinks in two out of three male shower rooms weren't working, which was a bit awkward.

Hostel has good facilities, probably the best equipped kitchen out of any hostel I have stayed in before and the wet room showers are amazing. Only negative really was the atmosphere at the hostel. When I stayed the hostel seemed to be full of middle aged men, some had been there for quite some time. Not exactly the clientele you normally find in a hostel, and was a little strange I must say.

Quite a walk from the station & as check-in is restricted to the afternoon we had to kill time exploring the town with our luggage dragging us down. However, both the Quay,Cathedral & town centre are within 5mins walking distance. The staff was very friendly & recommended a great café nearby. While the kitchen facilities were as good as it gets, the showers weren't: you had to constantly push a button lest the water stops running & I wished I'd brought shower slippers. Quaint rooms, cozy beds!

Overall this hostel was just what I have come to expect from private hostels in UK. The price was fair, obviously cheaper than a hotel, it was not dirty and the welcome was OK. However the character unsettled me. There seemed to be a few long-term guests and they did not make me (staying for 1 night) feel welcome. This is not the direct fault of the management, but the staff of a hostel form the atmosphere from the top down. Also could do with thicker curtains in the bedroom to block the light.

The duvets and pillows were rather dirtier and smellier than average for a backpackers. Otherwise OK

Hostel is in a good location not far from Exeter City Centre. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are very modern looking and there's a very well equipped kitchen as well. All in all, a very good place to stay in Exeter.

A great stay all round. I had to leave very early, so it was really handy that the staff were able to arrange for my key deposit to be returned to me before I left. Brilliant kitchen facilities too.

I really enjoyed staying there, the staff and other guests were lovely and helpful, the toilets and showers were spotless, the facilities were brilliant and a 5 min walk from the city centre.

Hostels are located just few minutes from the main hospital. Buses and taxi connect easily to the town centre. The staff were fantastic, very understanding and there is flexibility to change room. I had booked a room from the internet and when I got there I found there were 6 more occupants. I needed a quiet corner to prepare for my interview the next morning and this was done within minutes without any difficulty. The kitchen is large enough to carter for many people at the same time.

This was one of the best hostels Ive ever stayed in! It was in a great location, a five minute walk from the cathedral, high street and lots of pubs. All the staff were really friendly and the facilities were brilliant...no bedbugs here! ;) My only issue was that the showers were scalding hot and didnt seem adjustable. But I think this depends of which of the showers you use. Would stay here again in a second.
