Staff was very rude and unfriendly. I will never come back there.

I like this hostel. It's comfortable and the staff are helpful. Nice big kitchen. I found the kitchen had more 'vibe' than the dining or lounge rooms which weren't entirely conjucive to meeting others and conversation. Only real downside in my opinion was that there wasn't any soap in the toilets. Pls put up some soap dispensers.

was great just the double room we had was so small! I went from a backpacker hostel in Exeter st david it was amazing in comparison to this one.

I have really enjoyed my time there. There is a very friendly atmosphere at the hostel. A lovely social community.

The hostel was so old we could hear any kind of sound from our private room. So creepy ! but the location was great.

Hostel in a good location, not far from Plymouth, facilities are basic really, but the kitchen is reasonably well equipped. One of those hostels though with lots of long term guests around. Overall though, a reasonable hostel to stay short term.

Nice small hostel with good facilities, but the self-catering kitchens were so dirty you wouldn't want to touch anything. Room was great value for money, bathrooms could have done with more cleaning as well. But overall just fine for what you pay! We had a nice stay.

It was fine. A bit of a walk to other destinations. They don't have security for luggage if you have to leave after you check out which was a bit unnerving.

The staff go out of their way to look after you and the longer term guests were friendly. However, I think the kitchen sink benchtop needs to be replaced as water leaks into the cutlery drawer. Also, a sink needs to be installed for hygene purposes in the downstairs toilet area.

My friend and I turned up and felt so unsafe we left immediately. Never met a staff member as you can only check in after 3pm. Didn't see any of your typical backpackers (i.e young adults on their travels) just some guys in there late 30's. The place smelt and was grubby. What a waste of money. As a girl who has backpacked around the world solo this is easily one of the worst places I have been.
