the staffs were very friendly!! love this place!

A little outside from all spots in downtown, but just a 10 minute walk. Excellent Facilities with very good free Internet. Very big lounge area with cable tv and all of that.

It was a great place that has a lot to offer. The rooms did not provide lockers and the doors were rarely lock, but to get into the hostel itself you needed a security code or someone to buzz you in. The staff and long-stay visitor were all very friendly. The only downfall was the ants. It is something that is difficult to control because they allow a kitchen space in each of the rooms and people leave out food. They were in the process of remodeling so the ants may be gone.

No lockers in the rooms but they do have a large tv, which wasn't turned off until 1.00am. The room had some long term guests and there was clothes all over the floor, don't see how they could have got in to clean it. But it would be fine if you were just going to party and come in late.

Very nice hostel, but I expected a little bit more of the breakfast. Besides that we really enjoyed our time in Cairns.

It is a good hostel. Rooms are clean, the 2 kitchens are regularly cleaned. The TV room with sofas is ideal to take some rest. Free internet is very useful. good value for money. In genera in Cairns there is not much to do, having an hostel where u can relax was a good thing,

Some of the guests have very loud dinner and drinks thereafter in the evening. They do not clean up after themselves, leaving it for the cleaning personnel in the morning. Unfortunately, when you are up early you must clean up after them to use the kitchen - not fun!

After a late arrival, and a few issues regarding accomodation, the hostel's staff resolved everything. I really enjoy my stay at Globetrotters. Thank you!

Was a great stay!! Enjoyed it defenetly everything was clean and the stuff and people were nice!! And great kitchen, best kitchen I've seen in an Australian hostel!!

Really good hostel. Great location too - close to everything but far enough to have a quiet night.

The hostel was in a good location however the rooms were not as advertised on the website, they were very small and cramped and full of insects. The Globetrotter Redhouse block is not modern at all and could do with being done up when compared to the pictures that were shown on the website, I would not stay here again! We were not greeted on arrival or shown around or told anything about the hostel, customer service was very poor!! and the bathroom was not great at all!!

It was a great stop for the McMiniens on our round the world trip!

Hostel is like a mini hotel, evrrything you need for during the day. Garden/sun area is really nice with an excellent pool. Free wifi and sky tv is a welcomed luxury. Everyone is very friendly and the quiet evenings help get some much needed sleep. Highly recommend this hostel.

This was the beste hostel I've been to since I'm in Australia! Everybody is SO nice and you can have such a good time over here! Free breakfast and WIFI are good things about the hostel, but the whole atmosphere is amazing! Even if the weather is bad and you feel bad you have so many things to do - you can watch TV, DVD, play PS3 or just hang out in the lounge. BEST HOSTEL- thanks for a great time!!

Loved the place! The people were really nice, the rooms clean, the kitchen good and the price totaly worth it. its a 10 - 15 Minute walk out of town and defintely not a party place, but if you're ok with that - i would definately recommend to stay here!

Good Internet and ac. But I believe I got bed bugs while here even though the place seemed relatively clean.

Excellent, the staff even lent me a laptop so I could surf the web while travelling easy.

very professional. when we arrived, the crew was waiting for us. we got a folder with very important informations and best offers for tours. the crew was very friendly and they tried to help us for every simple problem or questions. it was very clean too. but our room was a bit small. it was a triple room and we had no place for our luggages :P no place to move. for sure when i go back to cairns we will stay again ere.
