Great place to stay in San Francisco. Right in the center of the city, very convenient. The rooms are nicely decorated and very personalized... not like an "impersonal" kind of big huge youth hostel. more like a cozy and warm home. cute kitchen where you can meet other people. come here! it is perfect!! staff is great as well.

I don't want to exggerate, but this hostel was really awesome! It had a washstand in each room and some rooms evev had a shower-room in their rooms! Oh, the rooms were all very clean, also. Location was very good-very near to Union Sq park, and staff was so kind, too.(After check out, they allowed us to keep our baggages at the Hostel.) Actually I hadn't expected much cause the price was incredibly cheap-but it was much better than my expectation! I highly recommend this hostel to everyone!

Great location, especially for the price, but wish there were lockers in the rooms. Also, beds were quite uncomfortable and th street noise made it hard for some of the light sleepers to sleep.

This is a fantastic hostel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room had a bad smell in it, so they immediately moved us and blasted the place with bleach. The common area is light and airy and it's nice and close to downtown.

The staff were super helpful, informing me of options of which bus. train or trolley to take including costs. Breakfast and the kitchen were OK. There were no l ockers and the lounge area had no TV.

Really great hostel. Staff friendly. Sociable vibe, very welcoming. Definately recommend. could use with some speakers in the kitchen so can listen to music around the table.

The staff was very helpful. There are computers available and wifi internet access, which was good. The hostel is located two blocks from Market Street, not in the sketchy-est part of town (which I appreciated!) The beds were comfortable, and despite sharing a bathroom, I didn't have to much difficulty being able to shower when I wanted. Only thing is downstairs the bathroom has no mirror or sink (was one in my room), and in the evening/early morning it was a bit inconvenient if you needed these

Had a great stay. Good location for getting around. Staff are really friendly especially Jeremy. Had one of the best atmospheres I've seen at a hostel. Also served a super thanksgiving dinner.

IF YOU ARE A LIGHT SLEEPER... DON'T STAY HERE!! Had a brutal sleep here as we shared the wall with the washroom. I was constantly woken up by the washroom door slamming and the toilet flushing. You hear people in the hallways at all hours of the night. People are friendly though and the kitchen clean. Just not ideal if you want a good quality sleep.

I really liked the camaraderie that this place built amongst the tenants. I wish they had stronger internet signal though.

the location is great! is a nice hostel if you don't expect much. the breakfast was good, but they only have ONE WORKING SINK in the whole hostel... so you have to be patient to brush your teeth.

Unfortunately, at the time of your stay, the sink in that particular room was out of order. However, every room is equipped with a sink. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your business.
