My girlfriend and I had a short but pleasant stay at Globetrotters. It is centrally located, the breakfast is as superb as recommended in other reviews (after receiving standard European breakfasts for the last few hostels it was nice to have some eggs and sausage), the staff are accomodating and friendly and our belongings felt secure. Only issue was with the wifi, which was erratic while we were there. However, there are free computer terminals so no biggie. Would stay again for sure.

I have stayed very often in many hostels of Dublin. Above all this place stands up as best choice. This is value not only for money but provides a character of its own. I will certainly recommend this place anyone who wants to have a clean place, Quiet night, Best location and lovely full Irish breakfast to start the day wit.

The Townhouse has excellent single rooms (a rare commodity for the traveler) with en-suite bathrooms and a laundry room (which I was happy to make use of). The breakfast is excellent, with a hot Irish breakfast option as well as cereal and toast. Great value, great location just off O'Connell Street and near the bus station.

Clean and comfortable budget accommodations in a more quiet area close to the tram and walking distance to Temple Bar.

Great place to stay, never going to find such great value for money again! Auto lights, there's no way to turn them off if your looking at sleeping in. FULL IRISH BREAKFAST!! BRILLIANT! Converted hotel into hostel where the ensuite bathroom is really good, cleaners clean them every day. More like a hotel than a hostel with zero night atmosphere in the place as they close off common areas except computers (which are free!!!).

Definitely not the friendliest staff, also strange how few people were in some rooms, my 10 bed room was just me, my friend and a middle-aged man. A little strange. Other than that, great facilities, free computers and wifi, great breakfast in the morning, nice beds, big clean bathroom. Really did feel like a hotel, so super clean and nice, but no "hostel" atmosphere, didnt meet anyone, lots of older people and families.

Great stay! We were very pleased, especially not having to drag our luggage too far from the bus stop, still a quick walk to Temple Bar.

Yes the Irish breakfast is excellent. But it's not enough. The atmosphere and facilities suffered: not enough social space or quiet space, hardly any outlets in the whole hostel. I had a top bunk and there were no supports to hoist yourself up or down safely. Another girl and I fell from our ladders a couple times as a result, and staff acted huffy at my mention of it. 1 toilet and 1 shower are not enough for 8 strangers to share in a room. We'd often have to give up on showering.

Globetrotters was honestly the best hostel I've stayed in to date. The bunk beds are huge and iron with big comfy comforters and pillows, and were exceptionally clean. Storage is in large, heavy under-bed bins, which wasn't super 'secure' but at least you'd hear it moving, and the hostel offers safety deposit boxes for 5€. We were in a 12 person dorm and it had one large bathroom attached with sink/shower/toilet in one room. The staff were friendly & breakfast great. Highly recommended.

The full irish breakfast is a great starter of the day. I was so full and the food is good. There are coffee and tea in my room for free. I would rather say this is more like a hotel than a hostel except for the double decker bed. Highly recommend.

Beautiful hostel, staff very nice, rooms very clean ! If you go to Dublin this is the place to be ! Moreover, the breakfast is very good. Just keep your bags and wallet with you where you're staying in bedroom with strangers. Otherwise, just one word : PERFECT !!!

I booked because I was going on a Paddywagon tour and didnt want to stay at Paddy's Palace Dublin - this place was much nicer, the beds were more comfortable, the rooms were clean and the breakfast much more substantial. The top bunks are very difficult to climb into though, and my individual light didnt work. Other than that the hostel was a good solid stay for a clean bed - not much in the way of activities/partying though if that is what you're after.
