This is a tough one to review. The hostel itself is beautiful, it looks like an old hotel. There's a shower and toilet for every room, the beds are comfortable. There is a kitchen to use, but it's not great. You're also only allowed to use it between 2PM and 9PM (so if you don't buy breakfast of them you'll have to do without). The staff is friendly enough, but they are not the kind of people you'd expect in a hostel, they are hotel staff. This is not a hostel to drink with other backpackers.

This hostel was in an excellent location and was a great find for an affordable last minute booking for a mates holiday. The staff were outstanding and welcoming from our arrival, always helpful, pleasant and informative no matter what th time of day or our request. There was a good range on offer for breakfast and in many ways this hostel had more in common with the hotel. The only downside was that the room was slightly chilly at night, and the locks on the room were a little loose.

It would be nice for a hostel, but the hotel part of the building was quite poor for the money paid. The room was cold and the bathroom not very clean. The breakfast was not included either and with quite poor choice.

We visited this hostel during our Easter break and were very well received by the staff who helped us through our entire stay telling us what to do and see. As for the facilities, our bathroom was freezing (it had a direct access to the street) but the room was pretty warm and cleaned daily. There is free wifi even though the reception is pretty bad in the rooms.

For a hostel it was a pretty nice place. Seemed very customer oriented and the receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Loved that they took the time to paint murals and character. Also they have several computers with internet available to guest plus access to a printer. Vey fair price for Dublin. Close to everything, but off of the really busy streets.

Price and location great, dorms reasonably clean and warm, however the 10 men dorm I stayed in annoyingly had only one electrical socket. Kitchen wouldn't have looked out of place in a 1970's orphanage however the dinning area was large and allowed for meeting fellow residents. I'd recommend the breakfast too. Overall, if somehow I ever find myself back in Dublin, I'd use again.

We Stayed for 3 days. 3 out of 4 staff members we met were very rude. There are no plugs in the rooms and the Wifi is very slow. There was no functional lock on the bathroom. Not all is bad however the location is very good. The showers were very nice. there is a lot of space within the building, which gives guests a place to meet other guests. over all I didn't like it though and I wont be returning.

There were no plugs in the rooms, which was extremely inconvenient. Kitchen closed at 9 am every night, which seemed very early. Staff were impolite and hostile.

Prices ok for weekdays but exaggerated for week-ends. The staff is friendly and eager to help you get your bearings in the town. My lamp bed in the dormitory was broken and they did not meet my request to fix it for several days, which was quite a drawback.

Amazing location, and super-friendly staff! Only downside was that the kitchen is an industrial kitchen but is not very well equipped and a bit tricky to use.

The staff were all wonderful, there was free WiFi, although it was a little dodgy in the room but very good in the common areas. close to the center of Dublin with shops literally just out the door. I would recommend ear plugs if staying here, could hear people stomping up and down the stairs. apart from that the place was great value for money, and if I ever go back to Dublin I will stay here again

We only stayed one night but the 12 bed dorm room beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. There was also a big kitchen to use to make dinner if you wanted. Very close to the bus station which was good.

The hostel location was good, right near O'Connell street. The breakfast they offer for 5 euros was really yummy! The rooms are average, a lot of the lockers under the beds didn't lock. Bring your own flashlight, as some of the bed lights don't work. The beds were made for you, so when you arrive late at night you don't have to waste time making bed. There's not much social life, so there are better hostels for that. But a decent place to crash for one or two nights. Felt clean, just not lively.

clean rooms, polite staff. stayed over paddys weekend so it was really busy but they did a good job and put on a good spread. Only draw card might be if you bring someone back, good luck with that, as they id check you when you return from a night out.

I stayed in a private room. Excellent value for money. WiFi in my room not very good, but easy enough to use in the common areas. My room was at the back, facing an alley that seemed to be a garbage/delivery route, the noises from trucks/people shouting could get quite loud at times, just before 11 at night and 8 in the morning. Most of the staff were very friendly. Location ok, but a bit further away from areas such as Temple Bar, being on the other side of the Liffey.

The front desk people were very nice, the problem is that the breakfast was very expensive for me, sabanda below the bed is always left a little stingy with the heating as well as very cold coming through the window.

We stayed in private rooms in the B&B section on the hostel. It was clean, the rooms were very nice, the location was excellent. We were only there for a night so can't say much about the atmosphere and the staff but everything was good overall.
