Nice room, clean, quiet, best breakfast from SW Asia (best hostel we have stayed). Problems: hot water from shower was very instable, and cable tv was not working. The hotel is a bit far from the city center (there is a tuk-tuk from hostel), but they work just until 09:00pm, so we had to take another one every day, but it was ok.

This hotel is a fair distance from town, but do provide a free tuk-tuk shuttle into the centre, so this was not a major issue. with a very clean swimming pool and the friendliest, cheeriest staff imaginable, our stay in Siem Reap, and it's amazing attractions, was enhanced by staying at the Gloria Angkor Hotel

After visiting a few of the surrounding countries (Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia) this hotel is by far the best in SE Asia. It is extremely clean, well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. They are very up front with you and tell you what fair prices are in the area so you know the limit when haggling. Free wifi throughout the entire hotel as well and the speed is good. Great pool and lounging area as well.

Had a very good stay in this hotel. You get a lot for your money and the staff is very kind and always helpful. The breakfast is already included and a mixture between western and Asian breakfast. We were after visiting angkor to tired to eat outside, that's why we had dinner there as well. It's fair priced and good. The hotel also has some bicycles to hire (for free). It's a little bit far away from the city centre but it doesn't matter when you are in Siem Reap for the temples.

Fantastic hotel. Couldn't fault them on anything except the fact that breakfast isn't included, which is annoying for the price you pay. Great facilities and lovely staff.

The staff were friendly for the most part, and our room was quite comfortable. The tuk tuk ride in to town for free was nice to have between 6&9pm but wish it was all day. It is quite the walk otherwise. Tours around angkor were reasonably priced and included ice cold water which was wonderful. We had issues with the hotel staff on a cople of different occasions regarding breakfast. It was included in our room but they kept saying it wasn't. We had to show them proof of this a few times.

It's a really nice Hotel . The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and ththe beds are perfect. We liked the breakfast buffet. And Tuk Tuk driver to city are free from 6pm - 12pm also the airport shuttle. We would come back.

Such a good place to stay! Very clean and the staff were so friendly and very helpful. The free airport pick up was so good, along with the free tuk tuk's in the evening. Booking a day trip to see Angkor was simple and you got a tuk tuk driver to yourself for the day. If you ever go there and take a tuk tuk, ask for Mr Sokai- he was so friendly and helpful! The pool was also amazing! Definitely would stay again! Worth every penny!

Gloria was a mixed bag: We waited an 90 minutes for a hotel pickup, requested 5 hours earlier. The staff speaks poor English, communication can be difficult. The lobby water tasted like chlorine. For example, I asked for mosquito repellent and they gave me bug spray. We stayed in the double deluxe room.Hostelworld explicitly states that breakfast is included, but its not. The shower goes between scolding hot and freezing, and I was burned. They provided us with a great tuktuk driver, great!
