I thought having to wait for 20 minutes for someone to let me in was unprofessional, as was having no reception area to meet and pay, although the woman did come to my room it was not necessarily convenient for me. That said it was very cheap and at the right value for money. However the 'ensuite' was barely that - and i could not side on the toilet properly as there was no space!!

We staid in Go Inn for two nignts. Location is very good (Hong Kong island, near the metro station). The room was small but cosy with all facilities. It was cleaned every day.We lived on the 21st floor,so the view from the window was very nice. No noise during the nignt. Staff is friendly. For such amount of money this place is a very good choice.

I booked my reservation with an anticipated time of arrival at 11:00. I arrived at the Go Inn Hostel exactly at 11...and no one was there to check me in. After several minutes of banging on the door and desperately trying to call the owner, I had to sleep on someone's floor. I can see from other posts that my experience wasn't an isolated one. The staff doesn't speak English well, and aren't really available to help you. They may or may not actually be at the hostel at any given time of day.

The hostel is without staff, besides when they go to the apartment to let you in. It's a bit difficult to come in contact with the person supposed to let you in, as she doesn't speak any english. The room was nice and clean, and the location wasn't too bad.

we were pleasantly suprised with how clean the room was. It was (as expected) very small but in a pretty good location and quiet at night. Directions on how to find the building were spot on! Initially we had some difficulties with finding someone to let us in as at the front desk "Go Inn" is actually "golden (something) travel and tourism" which was a bit confusing and when i rang the phone number i just got someone talking Cantonese with no English. However eventually we got it sorted!

The place is not so easy to locate once you're in the building but with a bit of sign language the security man helped me! I was supposed to stay in a dorm but got "upgraded" to a single room. This was an apartment in a different building about 10 mins walk away. The room was clean but the bathroom was really grotty. Felt a bit like an uninvited guest in someones flat but it was ok. It was cheap, bed was comfy, and not a bad location, so can't complain really.
